I have to put in a password every time I buy an App from iTunes which is just
another form of login.
Stagelight is a special case since it dropped on the scene for IOS, Mac OS, Windows
and Android with common IAP credits. That would only be possible with a database
of users external to iTunes. I'm sure Roland factored that into their decision to
purchase the product, the installed base and the development team.
Transferring my Mac OS and IOS Stagelight purchases into ZenBeats on both platforms at no cost was a nice surprise. 30 days of free Roland Cloud is also useful to me.
Create a gmail account and use it just for these "login" requirements. It's not personal.
It's just business.
Having fun trying to find the location of my mixdown on Windows; I’m mourning the loss of the OpenLabs website knowledge base.
I’m hunting in Users/Public/Public Documents/Zenbeats Library/, but can’t find it.
fantastic. i cannot make a roland account due to my region not being supported. i am quite displeased by the fact that apparently India doesn't count @MatthewAtZenbeats. specially when i have used Ios music making apps for years

With flexible loop braces inside the pattern editor, zenbeats is already halfway to polyrythmic greatness! This would be an awesome feature that other apps like Korg Gadget don't have.

Hi Matt, think found a bug in the Electroguitar synth. I recorded a bunch of loops in key of Aminor but when I recorded the guitar loop with ElectroGuitar preset, it plays sharp or A sharp. Can’t figure it out. But will try another preset and report back.
Update: if I save my own preset it plays back sharp, but if I use built in preset it plays back perfectly.
Speaking of analyzing videos and such, I can't believe no one's commented on this yet.
I had the same issue on my iPad Pro 11 2018 with AUv3s that deal with samples.
And also it would miss some notes on AudioLayer tracks.
The crackles fix is easy.
Go into settings, choose “plugin” then select “ force 44.1 k “ sample rate.
Just remember to do this every time you Launch the app
I created a new Electric guitar preset and this time it worked! Somehow the original got corrupted but I don’t know how to delete it.

Hi there, and congratulations on the acquisition by one of the greatest names in synth history! I hope the OpenLabs team will inject some new life into the company.
By the way, the license transfer and fairly well for me--had a little trouble getting the license to a place I could import from--but the Elevate Electrosynth Presets failed to transfer over yet weren't on the list of non-transferable items on your site.
I also own the Windows version. Do I use the same new license key there, too?
After installs on iPad, iPhone, and Android, and a lot of play on each, I’m going to say this is a great free update for Stagelight users and I look forward to what Roland brings to the party.
I had stopped using Stagelight and this update brought me back.
I really like the new skins, (909 Days) and I’ve realized the Stagelight default skin had put me off enough to set the app aside. Shallow, I know.
I think a lot of subtle workflow refinements have snuck into this version, or did the new skin just make everything better

I hope you guys made good money selling your company, but you just sent all my investment to the trash.
I’m deleting Stagelight right now from my iPad forever, and fortunately I don’t own any Roland hardware, otherwise I would be throwing it to the trash too.

Just to say again that on my Mac version, using VSTs makes the program unresponsive. Some VSts show no GUI, and trying to load any of them makes zenbeats not respond to key press or mouse actions.
That’s a pc or a Mac in the picture running a VST/au from the Roland Cloud
@ZenLizard @MatthewAtZenbeats Yes there is a problem and lag when pasting in midi notes in the pianoroll sequencer. Needs fixing.
