There's this fool on TV that says it will go away. Probably before the election...
the vaccine might not even be needed. They give him all the airtime he asks for.
As the election gets closer he will get thousands of hours for free with no cost to his
Campaign.
The other guy will get a debate or 2 to make his case and the odd news cast segment
but NOT large blocks of free airtime.
We have totally re-written the rules of a democratic system. He doesn't even get fact checked except on 1 or 2 outlets.

Take the State of New York which has been the hardest hit.
It is thought that this has now achieved herd immunity. The total percentage of people that have died in that State is 0.17%
Apply that to the entire population of the USA (as a worst case scenario) would be 562,700 deaths.

regarding herd immunity - there was still no one study proving that such thing even works with covid... on other side there are known cases of people who got infected twice in row... Herd immunity may be just fairytale in case of Covid (i mean natural one, of course vaccines are different story) - no wonder it is spreaded publicly at large scale mostly by dumb people like Donald Trump.
I'm really holding fingers crossed that this yellowhead twat will loose in elections, because that prick is security danger for whole world not just for US. I don't sleep well when i think abou nuclear briefcase in the hands of that psychopat.
We've been wrestling with these feelings for 4+ years. And the remedy will be just as bizarre.
He's priming the US for chaos if he looses and I can't guess what happens if he fixes the outcome. People on both sides (good people on both sides) are primed for violence and rage. He's making us insane. The power of cults may be damaged for generations. That would be a nice outcome. It will be like calling someone a modern Hitler or Jesus. He's another Trump. The brand will be radioactive or sacred.

I get 'Wag The Dog' feelings of all this pandemic stuff being used as a curtain to hide the lousy resource management of other issues around us...
Shutting down the globe took global co-operation. Otherwise control would have been lost without it. I dont believe a US President or anyone similar in the West ( and beyond ) can just phone in a nuclear strike, just because they have a code or case.

Covid-19 accounts for an average of 11 of the 1,687 deaths in Britain every day, according to official statistics.
In comparison, 124 people died each day from flu and pneumonia in the week ending September 4.
Heart disease – Britain’s biggest killer – accounted for 460 deaths every day last year, while cancer kills an average of 450 people per day.
Around 87,000 people die of dementia each year – about 240 people a day. Lung disease accounts for 31,000 deaths, or 84 every day, while fatal accidents at home – often while doing DIY – lead to 16 deaths per day.

Of course we still wear masks. We remember what happened in April.
You see the big spike that equates 400+ deaths per day Covid-19, that’s with a lockdown, and it only started with the odd one or two cases around February. It’s more embedded now, so just extrapolate......
