The point he is making with evidence is that the virus is spread by aerosol. Even if you wear a masks it will be spread out around the edges.
It’s all about mitigation not prevention - everything we do that can help, helps. If that’s not your thing then move on and fuck off.

Last time I checked, everyone in the surgical room wears a fucking mask. Are you trying to tell me he has never ever had to wear a mask — or simply refuses because he believes they don't work???
Then again, the so-called "doctor" practices in FloriDuh, where I imagine they treat life-threatening medical situation my tossing magic dirt on patients and proclaim "You are healed!!!"
All I can say is that China has the situation extremely well under control, and here mask wearing was - and still is - a big thing. Life is pretty much back to normal almost everywhere here. And when there is a local flair up it is dealt with quickly. Different countries' strategies make a big difference to how this thing pans out. Here they test and trace, people coming from abroad do 2 weeks quarantine and are checked on every day (I went through this myself and had zero problem with having to do it). Yes, they fucked it up badly at the beginning, but they acted quickly and strongly when they did start acting. And most importantly of all - people followed the rules and didn't see mask wearing as an imposition on their sacred 'freedom' to do what they want.
Masks are not perfect protection but the main reason that places like the UK were slow to encourage mask wearing was because they simply didn't have enough ppe for the health care workers etc never mind the local population. There's plenty of good evidence that if you have a respiratory virus or infection, mask wearing helps stop dispersal of droplets. Masks don't need to offer perfect protection, they just need to offer significantly more than not wearing....
I'm not ignoring any points, I'm looking at scientific evidence which is severely lacking.
And which country in Europe which didn't force mask wearing or extreme lockdowns is now furthest back to normal?
