TB definitely seems to have the forum consensus as a good and more affordable FF alternative.

Many were smart to pick up TB at great intro prices and may not be aware of their price hikes, so the forum consensus may not be quite precise for new buyers (it is the case of not seeing the price after you have bought the app). TB Equalizer was $6 at intro, but is now $14. The Fabfilter Pro-Q3 is $22 these days, not too far from the TB price.

If I remember this is about 20% off. So that’s like £70 off with bundle now. Anyone remember?

    It was $119.99 yesterday

I noticed this earlier, actually and was really quite surprised. You're right - once you've bought something it remains that price in your head basically forever. I was going to add the few TB things I didn't already have to my collection but they were more expensive than I'd expected them to be

  • Some TB apps have changed slightly but not all of them, and some have been discounted not raised. I know the compressor was $10 for awhile, now it’s been at $8 for months. Same with Reverb I believe.

  • You can always check price history on appsliced.com Just search for the app and scroll down, then expand price history.

a free HandPan Pack by Ben Aylon -known as one man tribe @splice-

  • Wizibel is $5, down from $10. Convenient app for adding visuals to your music, especially if you want to share it on a platform like Youtube but don't want to take the time to make a video.

Wizibel is horribly buggy and hasn’t been updated in 3 years.

I am open to alternative recommendations. First heard about it via Jacob Haq I believe

Yup. That’s where I am at now I have ProQ 3 on desktop (mac) was waiting for BF sale but now revisiting TB and really liking it but its price is pretty close to FF Pro Q 3

  • If Amplify had just added AUv3 effect support I wouldn't have needed to wait all this time to sort out an Ableton style performance rig...

  • Launchpad is soooo much with a hardware launchpad my god, if it was AUv3 it would be just killer

Or at least multi out... is that even possible for IAA? 🤔

Excited to try it with my new LPP anyways imagine an import your own samples via drag and drop into this AUv3 plugin? Would be golden right?

I don’t understand why no one did it yet.
A friggin matrix 8x8, push = loop, push again = stop, Import with drag and drop from the files app

At least we have midi clip launching with LK. Also have a look at this thread. Seems really close to the launchpad workflow. I‘ll try it with BeatHawk some day (don’t have EG Pulse)

    TB no sale?

Working fine on iPad Air 2, iPadOS14.2...

  • Anything from IceWorks?

  • ToneBoosters is like a poor mans Fabfilter
For desktop ToneBoosters they are very decently priced but they don’t ever do sales
Fabfilter built the name up a bit so they have that big name reputation to charge more $$$ haha.

Fabfilter is worth it I feel if you love the UI/UX
    Awesome company.
TB stuff is just fine though if you don’t have the extra cash!

    TB no sale?

I think their everyday prices are so low that they don't go on sale. The DSP is as good as FabFilter at a fraction of the cost. Some of the FF plugins do have some nice bells and whistles that the TB apps don't but in some other cases, the TB plugs have some features the FF ones don't.

Seriously. If Ampify merged all their apps and added hosting they’d be a must have

  • UVI doing 30% off site wide until Dec.02
Not sure if this will include iPad stuff??
