Based on its uniqueness, I’d say Kronecker. Someone once described along the lines of “it starts weird and then just gets weirder”. The architecture is so different from other synths that you’re bound to run into interesting stuff.
Thanks @NoiseFloored . It’s also going to be nice to OWN EVERYTHING in the AppStore lols
@jscheel FYI, my choice is LK and Drambo for drum sequencing inside AUM and AudioLayer as a drum sampler.
AudioLayer is very efficient and it has the best key and velocity mapping editor.
I have Laplace, Mersenne, and Kronecker. All can produce sounds that I find nuanced and evocative. Laplace uses noise and physical modeling and you can get a range of blown, scraped, plucked, and struck sounds. Mersenne uses FM along with noise and resonance and can produce beautiful struck or scraped bell-like sounds. Kronecker rhythmically triggers sound "particles" that get processed by a resonator to produce a mechanical-sounding composite sound. I haven't gotten into this one as much.
I just bought Lagrange, Koshiba, and Yukawa on sale. Can't wait to get into them.
@Outtram, Kronecker, LaGrange, and Mersenne all have free preset downloads from @Spidericemidas. Kronecker has a super pack from @shinyisshiny as well. Recommend all three.
You can also find 25 presets for Lagrange - by Richard Yot - on discchord
and another 114 Lagrange presets by Spidericemidas in this topic.
Supersmall files and super-smooth to install. They should set an iOS standard.
As of last night I have both. I bought DigiStix early this year and gave up using it due to the UI regularly failing to reopen in Cubasis 2, but I also don’t like the workflow. The multi-sample functionality is clunky enough that I’m not convinced there’s much advantage having it - but given what I do it isn’t a key feature for me. Non-musical volume control (linear not dB) irritates me, but I’m not sure EG Pulse is different.
I'm pretty sure that has a recorder in desktop version.
As an iOS app that can be easily solved with Audioshare & co
No, i don’t care about recording audio output. I mean recording a sequence/beat. As in tapping bass drum/snare, tapping the hihats... Finger tapping!. So you finger tap and that build the sequence notes, basic stuff available in every drum machine I can think of.
Got you !
I don't think they had that in mind to begin with, considering the concept and layout.
But if are enough requests who knows...
I bought EG Pulse yesterday only to find out it doesn’t do velocity layers (multi samples). I quit using DigiStix cos you couldn’t change patterns via midi cc... Any other alternatives?.
I need multi samples for more realistic or less robotic feel when doing acoustic drums.
I need to be able to switch patterns to use in a daw or in AUM via Lk.
I’ve looked at DrumPerfect, but the AUV3 “player” thing looks very limiting.
Thanks @michaelhauser , @LinearLineman , @Pxlhg @dakti for pointing out the amazing @Spidericemidas and @richardyot presets... Honestly just downloaded them and played them all.... they should 100% ship with those presets in my opinion
In fact, Audio Modeling uses either full modeling, either hybrid sample-modeling for some of their instruments.
For instance Strings are 100% modeled (and very lightweight) whereas woodwinds are hybrid (and a bit heavier). You can find all the explanations and also per-library weights on their website. Cheers !
Also @moForte , any chance you extend the sale to individual IAP for your beloved early customers who are now stuck with a tough decision to make ? Pleaaase 🙏🤞😘

it was from my app sliced alert - anyone uses separating stems feature?

Can't get the prices to change in TH-U. The store says 12kr (.99 USD) for several of the libraries and I even got an email about the offers. But when I go to the store via the app those prices are 179kr. Tried restart, logging off and on but nothing helps. SO very annoying. @overloud

The rigs are .99USD only if you already own that same rig on desktop. That IAP info is incorrect, but that might be App Store’s fault not Overloud’s. There has never been anything on sale on iOS except the Full Pack for $80, down from $110. But people can purchase the rigs for .99 if they already have the desktop version so perhaps that’s why the App Store thinks they’re .99. Many cross platform users of TH-U have done this, you probably just get a redeem code for a $1 rig. BTW my AppStore iap for them doesn’t list anything for $1.
It is quite accurate, especially in styles like Pop, Rock ... with good productions
@JoyceRoadStudios
I don't think Apple changes any prices on a wim but only when a provider/developer ask them to. Thanks for the clarification anyhow.
The rigs, smaller bundles, and a la carte items should all be on sale to reflect desktop sales, even like 50% would be good. They missed an opportunity there. Yes the $80 full pack on sale is a great deal, but that’s still a lot of dough for iOS. In any case, this is and will continue to be the top guitar rig app on iOS, along with Nembrini. Top quality sound, and they’re both AUv3 with frequent updates on the horizon, like IR loading.
Yes, I love it. No doubt and to be honest: I've edited a few of the rigs and I don't see me using a lot of others as I'm so happy with how they sound. Still, a sale is sale
Puremagnetik Samples/Plugins %50 off!

-his sample packs are great.-
@gabal does Transcribe+ tell you the original key and tempo?
No, only the relative changes
I recently purchased GeoShred and so far I really like it but need more time to know what I am doing
I have been eyeing the GeoSwam instruments and I know that they just went on sale but after doing some research I just wanted to let folks know that there are limitations with these...
Mainly that they can only be controlled by geoShred or an mpe controller, no midi etc. Also they are monophonic.
The big discovery I made is that they are "in the near future" goinh to release ios app versions of these instruments that will have all functionality...
I am no expert so I refer you to the faq page
