Just to note I also get the waveform disappearing sometimes, also had a crash, but I have developer sharing on so hopefully you'll get crash logs.

This happened to me. The app auto downloaded in iPhone and didn’t know it and got that dialogue box. iPad downloaded just fine cause it wasn’t auto downloaded.

@Synthi you can use thru mode to play a slice to the end of the file, playing over other slices

1. how do you replace the sample. 2. can you replace a new sample in for each slice. 3. how can i adjust the velocity on the onscreen keyboard. it plays quite a bit quieter than tapping on the top of a slice

Nice to see the Open in integration with Pulse.

Has anyone tried to export from BM3 as Apple loop and see if the same slices turn up here? I saw this in the manual: "When an Apple Loops in Aiff format is imported, its transient markers will be automatically detected
and displayed on the waveform."
Does it work with loops from Garageband?

@ElliottGarage Another bug worth noting is I'm getting sessions not loading in AUM, getting stuck on the Segments track when loading, importing not working either on these tracks.

I don’t think you her charged for a pre-order until it’s released, so you shouldn’t have to pay twice. Check your iTunes Store receipts.

I just went and bought an ITunes card and bought it again (or didn’t buy it again?????? Lol )
I have no idea what happens with the whole preorder thing but that’s the last time for me, I’ll just wait till an app is released in the future, thanks for your response though.

Something in the app broke for me and I can no longer load the AUv3, is it possible to share the sEGments folder with Files app? Then it might be possible to fix this in future if there's problem with a sample. I tried restarting the ipad but didn't help. I'll have to reinstall but would lose the presets I guess.

The app has no sequencer (Thank **** ) so sync it with your host, long press the tempo at the top, you can set the number of beats, now you will see it show the detected tempo, tap the tempo so the tempo detector hides, now tap the tempo again and press the sync button, it is now synced oldschool style with the host, note a bit further to the left you can hit warp and it will sync with host new style (timestretch)

The app has no sequencer (Thank **** ) use whatever host you are using to set up your random playback, using a MIDI AU or whatever.

1 you can init the preset, but there is also a load button, small folder next to the play button.
2 I did suggest this, and also a multi mode where you could load a sample per pad and have per pad MIDI channel, it is beyond what he had in mind for the plugin.
3 the keys mode has the same up down velocity adjust play higher up the key the louder it will be and vice versa, same as playing the waveform direct.

No, Apple loops is currently broken, worked in the last beta, just tried and it no longer works (Informed developer)but yes, when he fixes it it loads and detects Apple loop slices, Auditor is the ticket here, you can save as Apple Loop in that, but also save the accompanying MIDI file too for triggering

The download worked fine for me. To get them installed, all I did was open/select the files that were downloaded in the Files app. When I did that, the segments app popped up and they were there.

I didn’t have it crash, but the waveform image seemed to disappear somewhat regularly when you left and returned to the display. A few times it also seemed to “lose” the audio in the same condition. What i’m describing happened when it was an AU running in AUM. But man, when everything works, the app is fabble-us!

I didn’t have it crash, but the waveform image seemed to disappear somewhat regularly when you left and returned to the display. A few times it also seemed to “lose” the audio in the same condition. It's a known issue, and a few of them have been fixed along the way, but the last one I have struggled to repeat, can also happen in Cubasis 2, if you can get a repeatable way to do this would be great.

Sorry I must be a dummy but on oppening the gear icon this menu is revealed.
I still cannot see the import option for extra presets.

@Toastedghost sorry I forgot to mention that this procedure must be done from the standalone app (Then you'll find presets also in AU3 version of the app)

@ElliottGarage - getting some weird screen resizing issues in AUM - in this example I can’t access some of the pads, despite closing and trying to resize the window - even changing screen orientation doesn’t fix it.

Edit: closing and reopening AM cleared it, but not really helpful to workflow.

If you can find a repeatable pattern for reproducing this I'd be happy to know too...
I tried many hosts and got some random UI glitches in most of them but no 100% reliable way to reproduce them.
