Quite true.

Wrap the various algos in the latest preset pack into a synth drum gadget for..Gadget.
7 x Synth Drum in Gadget.
Don’t know if I enjoy building kits this way but the individual sounds are good to layer with the drum gadgets, etc.
I haven't been that crazy about the other packs, but I like this drums one a lot.
This Synth Drum IAP thing is pretty good 'sampler fodder' and adds nicely to the rest of the sounds in Module.
A 'Kit Mode' would have been handy allowing presets to be mapped to notes & note-ranges.
But hey, I can always 'sample' them sounds into BM3 and make the kits there...
Another solid IAP from Korg, damned, the IAPs are addictive![:D :D](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/lol.png)
Hello l'Equipe!
After transition to AUv3 (I decided to not use IAA) I noticed, that Korg's Module sound softer in comparison to other AUs. Has anyone noticed the same thing?
Greetings. VG
I installed the LE version of Gadget but I don't see it as a source in AUM. Is that because the LE doesn't support AUv3?
I sent Korg an email asking for
AUv3 support for all korg gadgets
Like on the desktop version.
I also requested AudioShare and files app support
For MIDI import. Maybe they heard me.
Not quite what I was asking. I was asking about the IOS version of AUv3. I don't see Gadget LE listed in either AUM or Audiobus. Is this because it's the LE version?
Anyone? Beuller?
Gadget is Korg’s sequencer/DAW and Module is a separate instrument container that works both as an audio unit and in Gadget as various instruments...
Gadget is not an auv3 it should open as iaa in those hosts but the LE Might not i don’t know
thanks Krupa/resOne.
I was really hoping I can get confirmation that Gadget would work as an AUv3 since it has a nice integration with my nanoKey Studio.
Module works as IIA.....but sheesh...everything is another add-on you have to buy. As the same time, I see there's an Essential Complete package for $40. But those instruments don't seem to be the same as the ones in Gadget.
I was hoping that Gadget could be an instrument in itself as I like the workflow I've set up with AUM but maybe that's being narrow-minded...and it's $40 for a lot of power.
Anyone know what the ‘base’ note is for the Synth Drum pack?
I assume it’s C3 but not sure.
yes, the battery drain is still happening here. Really fast. It's a shame, I really like the Module gadgets.
ipad pro 2017, ios 13
Yeah, it’s mainly Gadget, Module standalone not so much.
It helps to tap twice on the gadget to zoom-in and hide the pianoroll sequencer screen.
But overall it’s a Gadget problem for years now.
Gadget will work as IAA, not AUv3 in AUM. It's highly unlikely to become available as an AUv3, though maybe some more of it's instruments will become available as AUv3's over time.
Module will work as AUv3 in AUM. You don't need to load it as an IAA.
Module's sounds are available in certain of the gadgets (Salzburg, Alexandria, Montreal, Glasgow, Frienze, Fairbanks) within Gadget. You also have access to these sounds in the AUv3. Some are available by default and other's are additional purchases.
Electribe Wave is another Korg app that, if you purchase, will show up as a gadget and will also show up as an AUv3.
I hope that clarifies a little.
OT: but a pity a couple of others don't follow suit IK Multimedia for a start, Lumbeat apps are another....It's only so long the iOS system will continue to support IAA
Ya. But it's also a matter of economics. Someone has to pay for all that development effort, and unfortunately iOS apps surely don't generate enough revenue to justify that expense in the majority of cases.
For the most part I agree, but IK Multimedia? One of the biggest![ ](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/lol.png)
Doesn't matter if the company is big or small. Programmers need to be paid. Companies need to sell product to make money to pay programmers. It's only the indie developers here who seem to be willing to work for next to nothing. Companies don't keep investing in unprofitable products - unless there is some other reason (marketing, etc.) that justifies the investment.
well sorry but it does seem that you have little idea of the breadth of IK products...they sell a LOT! iOS and PC/MAC and I'd make a calculated guess the profit margin is quite substantial - and duh! Programmers need to be paid, and why is that news? Best you leave this one alone I think.
Noted. Sorry, I didn't realize I was talking to a business expert.
New sound expansion pack available:
Some good basses. Doesn’t like so much the leads sound and the piano type.
Korg is really 'milking it' with these new sound packs![:D :D](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/lol.png)
This new pack is created by MSXII apparently.
Some nice sounds on first impression. What I don’t like is that on some presets one of the FX controls are ‘double’ assigned to one of the 8 synth knobs. That’s confusing and pointless IMO.
KORG released this vid today (odd enough this Neo Soul pack isn’t in it)
