Yeah, for instance the “Oct Lead” in Hybrid 2 is a polyphonic (!?) lead allowing portamento on multiple notes. First time I get that on iOS. So yes, very interesting.
As says @Samu , Korg may release something before Christmas during their sales. At least, we can expect that any new synth from KORG be AUv3.
I was hesitant to get because of the 1.3GB size and would mostly be using in Gadget but realized that you can get Module and once Gadget puts the 6 'Module' Gadgets in you can delete Module and still use the Gadgets.

@BitterGums It should work but not sure if deleting Module frees up (much) memory. I’ve read the Korg apps share the same samples (not copies). Plus you’d need Module if you want to get IAPs in the future.
I think I bumped into a bug in Hybrid/Fairbanks. It occurs both in Module Pro and Gadget.
Presets from the LoFi House pack that include the Tremolo effect don’t save the value of the second knob (‘Edit 2’) of the modulation effect.
Example in Gadget/Fairbanks: program “Tape FM - Grainy Formant”
This ‘Edit 2’ knob bug remains even after changing to another effect.
Oddly enough this only happens with the LoFi House pack. And only the programs that have the tremolo effect preset.
Programs from the other packs that include tremolo are not affected.
Anyone can confirm?
Since the last update, none of my Ivory presets can be retrieved nor saved properly (all parameters are reset).

Can I download Module and the cinematic IAP and still use it in AUM? Or is there another IAP I have to purchase to unlock auv3?
Yes, you can download Module free, buy Cinematic IAP and use it as AUv3 inside AUM (at least it works in apeMatrix).

Still no Gadget Mac update though. Usually it gets updated with new content when a new soundpack is released. I wait for this since the last LoFi Fairbanks Soundpack...
And the user preset saving issue should be fixed.
Lol, I just have to giggle as it's quite apparent that the sound-designer behind the SID Lead preset has no real clue what an actual SID-Chip sounds like

The SID preset sounds more authentic if you switch on the build in arp and play 2 notes. Not sure why the arp is not on by default for that preset.

The Kingston Gadget does quite ok Chip Arps when using the 'Run' feature. (Type 1, Speed ~8 or so) and hold 3-4 notes but it lacks the classic SAW waveform.
This bug is still present after the latest update.
Aaaand with this latest update, the massive battery drain when using module in Gadget is back.

Does anyone have any direct contacts at Korg? I emailed them about doing vids on Korg Module but never heard back. They seem hard to get a hold of, from what I have heard.
I love that Kapro Choir by the way - Anyone have any recommendations of free choir soundfonts etc that can rival that?

Please tell us that Gadget 2 will get an AUv3 host Gadget. Pretty please.
This new pack though, damn I'm a sucker for this type of sound. Not going to pass on this one.
Here's my current take on all this...
Gadget becoming an AUv3 host would be a total support nightmare unless it would be limited to the most up to date iOS/iPadOS version which includes plenty of AUv3 related fixes compared to the time when AUv3's were first introduced.
Considering Module already works as an AUv3 it would make more sense to first port he remaining 'supporting apps' (iPolySix, iMS20, iMonoPoly, iM1, iWavestation, Odyssei) to AUv3 and maybe even bring over the MDE-X over to iOS/iPadOS as an AUv3?
I'd much rather see Gadget improved when it comes to audio & midi editing, sampling/re-sampling & arranging (ie. time-line and clip launching) than AUv3 hosting.
A 'global sample pool' in Gadget would be a super handy feature and extend the sonic scope of the app a LOT.
Imagine using user samples in all the sample based Gadgets and also being able to use all the samples in Gadget with all the other Gadgets.
Imagine what it would be like if we could use user samples in Wolfsburg?
(Vancouver doesn't even read loop meta-data from *.wav files and is very limited as a 'sample based' synth).
Don't know what @ioue and the team has in store for us this year but I hope it's something fun and exiting!
(I love my NTS-1 and would love to see it as a polyphonic AUv3 Instrument & Effect but I guess that's a bit too 'far out').
