MIDI CC can be comprehensively set up per instrument (not per preset) in AUM.
Don’t know about in standalone mode as I don’t have the Performance Expansion pack
Is pitch bend only available in the orchestral pack if you also have the performance pack, or is it just not possible at all?
I need the Auv3 to directly support CC's, as I work with different host. So if someone has the Expansion pack .. ?
Edit:
And preset saving, and renaming deleting user presets

Dear @ioue ,
Just to let you know that since version 4, I’ve got the impression that Module is a battery-killer.
When running Korg Module, my iPhone XS becomes hot and the battery fully loaded is down in less than 45 minutes, even if I exit Module, don’t use Module or set the iPhone on pause. The only solution to stop the battery drain is to force-quit Module.
I don’t remember version 3 was that heavy on battery.
I have response from Korg.
1) I do not see the possibility of Export from / Import to USER BANK. Will this option be added in future updates in Korg Module?
Currently, there is no way to export USER Bank's sound. It is necessary to backup from iTunes or macOS. The workaround is to save the USER Program as a Set List. The Set List files can be retrieved via iTunes or macOS.
2) Will be added in future updates - possibility to exchange USER BANK preset between KORG Module Pro and KORG Gadgets 2?
Korg wil will share request with development team.
Dear @ioue,
Cheers
I keep my fingers crossed for future upgrade of Korg Module and Korg Gadgets, especially regarding the possibility of saving and exchanging own sounds in the user bank, and adding AUv3 to others Korg app of course, I am waiting especially for AUv3 to iM1
+1
even if I turn off network midi background audio etc on settings
+1 on iPhone 11 iOS 3.7
iPhone 11 running iOS 3.7 ?? that’s some backward compatibility right there
+1 on the battery drain (both Module and Gadget).
Lol 13.7. Haven't slept yet. Goodnight lol.
I just bought the performance expansion IAP and I discovered that the splits, layers and midi cc functions are only available on the standalone version and not in auv3. Very happy that module is now auv3 compatible but big disappointment on this point.
Sorry to hear that, v annoying for you and hopefully they will fix this.
In the meantime all MIDI CC are exposed in AUM’s own MIDI ctrl settings
thank you!
I actually miss the split and layers functions the most in auv3. I started using these functions in the standalone version and found it great and very inspiring. I wanted to do the same in cubasis 3 and record something in a midi track via auv3, but I realized that it was not possible. What a pity!
@Mickaël , Blueveek’s MidiTools has a keyboard splitter that has worked great for me. $6, I think for a whole suite of midi tools.
@LinearLineman, thank you very much for this suggestion, I will take a look.
I also hope korg will add this to auv3 one day...
Hello @""Mickaël"
I wonder, how splitting/layering can working within the AUv3 plugin. May be somebody knows the AUv3 plugin with splitting/layering?
I hope, the next version of KeyStage will solve all the problems (mainly for live performance).
I hope electribe wave and module are the first of more to come and the future for Korg is also bright... ehh AU<3![;) ;)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/wink.png)
@Mickaël, @auxmux said this about Camelot Pro and wondered if it might solve your problem...
“So, let's say a mono patch played on right hand with a pad that can be played for chords by left hand. You also layer multiple AUs on top of each other for phatter sounds. Plus it has presets for some hardware synths. I think you can route audio through it too, combining hardware and software patches.
I'd love this in AUM, but you can't have AUs inside AUs.![:/ :/](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/confused.png)
Just got it, going to try it more tonight.
It didn't support midi AU or more importantly AU fx before, so I was waiting for that to drop.”
If I leave Korg Module open in the background, it drains battery faster than any other app I have.
I've had it completely empty my iPad Air 3, several times now. iOS battery life, clearly shows that Module, is the reason.
I don't have background audio turned on for KM.
I don't think we can be expected to rememebr to maually close it, does anyone know if there is a fix on the way?
Yes, it sure is Korg Module.![ ](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/wink.png)
Unfortunately, I have stopped using this new version 4 for that particular reason, waiting for a fix.
@ioue , if you hear us !
Module au and gadget both absolutely murder my battery
Clear !!
![:D :D](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/lol.png)
Why don't you power the iPad when you use it? Or do you use it only on the go?
I forgot to try something during my seven day trial of the orchestral pack, does it appear in gadget anywhere?
I usually will but am always a little weary because my device gets hot from module or gadget and then even more once I have to plug it in
Yes the Orchestra demo shows in Gadget so it should be there once purchased.
Cheers @yowza , totally slipped my mind when trying it out![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
Definitely! For instance, when I play Gadget’s Lisbon my iPad (and iPhone) heat up more than with anything else. If I’d charge it at the same time the temperature would reach a point where it could be harmful to the li-ion battery.
An iPad will shut down if it gets too hot. Mine shut down over the summer when I was working outside in the heat and used it with the sun beating down on it for too long. I know it’s hard for me to remember it being hot, but it was, and the iPad shut down and said it was because of the overheating.
In AUM it with the free version parameters are exposed for midi control but mapping to them doesn’t seem to do anything? Do you need to Performance expansion to control midi this way as well as midi learn or is it a bug? Seems odd to expose params but not make them useable. Unless I’m doing something wrong? Can anyone please confirm?
