Decided by 19, after 6 years of gigs, I didn't want to do that as a living. I've been writing songs for more than 40 years, and did other things simultaneously...like work at a top 10 for dod, and 4 or 5 national labs.....escape my servitude by 35, travel the world, live in exotic places, show visual art at a couple of world class galleries in the states and mex. The past two years I've been working again creating a music studio up on my third floor overlooking the mountains of guanajuato. I've got alot of instruments. Digital pianos, marimba, roland juno, 12 or 13 guitars. A harp...I'm still collecting. Got a new mxl990 on it's way from disneylandia this week. I'm looking forward to putting it into my isolation closet. I've been working on the ipad integration as a playable surface. A compromise while waiting for a reasonably priced surface equivalent to a linnstrument. But getting closer. That's the circle. You...? And you guys can relax. My hall pass is up at midnight. Soon....you will be able .....to......close your eyes......you're getting sleepy...when you wake.....you'll think you have a new president. But it will just be another dream, or a nightmare. Only the future knows.

Seems like you have a wealth of good things happening for you. I, too have had the travel bug for a few years now. Ended up getting perm. res. in Australia where I will reside again soon. You are a very defensive, harshly opinionated person who will not step down from what he/she believes. I respect this but I hope you can allow yourself some flexibility one day. Bitterness is not becoming. In terms of the next president, it's pretty clear your guy lost but maybe you can find some positives in the next guy.
