@MoogMusicInc
Thanks so much for the latest betas and testflight links.
I have tested them both, and all the GUI issues seem to be fully resolved on the 2021 M1 iPad (11”)
(Note - I also submitted this info via beta feedback)
Thanks
Never knew I shared the same birthday as the man himself. Thanks for this @MoogMusicInc ❤️
Thanks so much for testing, we've submitted the builds to Apple for review, and release.
We can't comment on unreleased products. Animoog was written for the very first iPad model, even before Audiobus and IAA existed, let alone AUv3. AUv3 imposes that no global apps state exists, which makes adopting it for older apps very hard.
Ok. Thanks 🙏 my friends at Moog
This is definitely a proper way to say "Thank you" to our friends at @MoogMusicInc

This.
It's a situation you can't win. You enable assistive touch, you think you're da man, then you forget about it and days later, but definitely when it really counts, you will totally ruin your best ever impro run by inadvertently hitting it instead of the desired UI element in another app because it's just hiding there
This sweep-up thingy is an honest-to-god usability failure from Apple.
Edit: I forgot to mention that the 4-finger sweep is a cleaner option that you can also use.
This is about as useful as @brambos, @j_liljedahl, @michael, Fab Filter or Eventide apps being free. Some one benefits but it won't be me... What's the opposite of this:
scha·den·freu·de = pleasure derived by someone from another person's misfortune.
Displeasure that someone gets Moog apps for free... Did I say that outloud?
Maybe they will find out that they can only run 1 instance of Model 15 and I can
chuckle... "Duh".
Then we can do a whole round of "AUv3" are broken or Moog doesn't work on IOS
and talk about how the DSP meter is effectively useless but using your ears is still a good
way to engineer music.
If you were my friend you would make me a new app for my birthday. Pretty please.
That can interfere with playing chords and other multi-touch gestures in music apps though. I always turn that off.
It's a hack, but a bluetooth typing keyboard with "alt" keystroke combinations can be used to switch apps. I never do so myself, but it does work.
Fair point. I didn't think of that because I never had issues with it so far, but it stands to reason that the next time I use my ipad I will.
Anyone who plays chords with more than two or three fingers deserves what they get!
@McD : on my iPad Air 2018 I can run three instances of Model 15 simultaneously with three instances of ID700, an instance of Drum Computer, two File Players, several Atom 2s, a Rozeta XOX and a different reverb and/or delay and/or Maze Rider running live from each of 8 AUM channels into 8 Audio Evolution tracks with zero crackles and nothing falling over. Check out the result here:

Admittedly, I think all instances were mono, and my, ahem, ‘orchestration’ tends to the minimal, but still... that was plenty for me to be going on with. I know Model 15 got updated recently - maybe that accounts for it?
Appreciate the candid comments. I’m sure you guys must know how much everyone would like to see it in AUv3, but understand that it’s not a trivial task.
What are you favorite preset pack to buy in Model 15 and Animoog store ?
Thank you for the great app to my friends at Moog. 😎👍
If I like the synth or what not, I typically buy a pack or 2 too.
Psychotropic synthesis in M15 is my favorite. It makes clever use of stereo patching.
Thanks @MoogMusicInc for a fantastic offer.
Everyone: any recommendation for the best Model D and Model 15 IAPs out there? Ideally, rank them from best to worst (as you see it - no fighting pls). I want to give Moog some of the money they would've gotten from me had I bought their products at full price.
Also, any packs that are particularly good for MPE?
It’s a great way for Moog to pick up extra sales at this late stage of their product cycle for these terrific apps.
No app for you!
Yes!
LOL. "He's such a noob he plays 7-note chords with two hands, man"
Old classic vid...

Both Minimoog Model D and Model 15 have now been updated in the App Store with support for 2021 M1 iPad Pro devices. We've disabled the TestFlight links posted earlier.
That made me chuckle!
Thank you @MoogMusicInc for sharing this documentary:

Bob was a great guy. Still humble even after achieving so much.
I don’t know about anybody else, but there’s something about
that makes me all fuzzy inside
