New update is live on the App Store:
Not up yet but looks wonderful!
In UK that is
Excellent update!
Yeah... these things always need some time to trickle through all the different regional App Stores
I’ve got the UK update.
Great stuff, love the dark mode, separate 3 head positioning, and the fact there’s still an option to place all three.
So the 3 dots to the right of the wave form what are they for ?
If all 3 are lit up, when you tap on the buffer, all 3 dots will move there. If you tap again you will see that only one is lit up, now when you tap on the buffer, only that one will move, etc.
For selecting which of the playheads you want to position. Either all 3 at once (as before) or one of them.
Cheers @brambos
Is the Friction parameter exposed? because I cannot find it.
If not, it could be sooo sweet being able to modulate it 🙂 🙏🏼 @brambos
Can anyone tell me where all the audio I’m recording into Fluss recorder is stored please? I’m recording lots of fairly long pieces and at some point I’ll want to delete them all to free up space. @brambos @Hainbach
Cheers, and happy holidays!
It’s all stored inside the presets you’re making. So if you don’t save those the recordings won’t take up extra space.
Additionally if Fluss is part of e.g. an AUM project the audio will be embedded in the state of that project. Delete the AUM file and you’ll automatically also delete the recording.
There’s no additional separate place where recordings are stored that needs to be cleaned or managed.
Great, thanks man!

I'm definitely still enjoying it and using it. I certainly wouldn't mind a sync mode (separate per playhead, ooh), but I know that is likely never going to happen. If you like ambient etc it's pretty cool.
Hey, @Gsus! I'm still using it and loving it. Even more with Fluss, Silo and Spacecraft I have little interest in using descktop "pro" granulators like Novum, Fragments, Dust and Ableton/Henke Granulator.
@Gsus I’ve had to dial back my musicking over Christmas, but I can attest that Fluss is really good and inspiring, used either as a processor or an instrument.
Worth every penny, if ambient/soundscapes/atmospherics are your cup of tea.
Hot tip is to use it slowly - it’s easy to have everything zipping about like mad, but you get much more interesting results with slow movements. Though that’s not a universal truth, just a general tip. It’s a thing of beauty.
I agree with above comments , especially @bygjohn’s suggestion to use it slowly.
Very highly recommended
Dark mode looks so slick, love it @brambos
HI yes, I'm still using it of course! It's really fun. 2 or 3 instances running in Aum and using different samples, you got yourself the makings of a song!!
Amazing to have this on iPad, I use my iPad together with my eurorack. Again, amazing stuff.
If I would dream out loud, what I think would be cool, it would be able to do longer grains, randomize grain generation, and be able to randomise amplitude per grain, then it would replace my hardware granular. But that would probably be too cpu heavy.
Best regards Bobb, amazing app again, I have all your apps, it’s always an instabuy.
Has anybody used this in GarageBand as an AU? How well did it work?
