I think @JMSexton was gonna try with iLectric. I don't own it, but I imagined if it had the same +/-12 transpose it should work.
However, I'm having a few issues with one of the ideas the Midi learn list above gave me.
I figured that Sample wiz also having a +/-12 transpose and MIDI learn, AND just joining the bus would be great for this.
I'm finding though, that its playing a couple of octaves higher in pitch than iGrand, and it's also playing some wrong notes.
Because I mapped this layout specifically for iGrand Piano, I'm gonna have to do some tinkering to see if I can get them both sweet.
My other thought was perhaps putting Genome inbetween MIDI Designer and any other app. But that experiment might have to wait a little.
I haven't found any other apps that support half step transpose either. I tried a few before I decided to download iGrand. I'd like to find some others though, just so I can delete iGrand. It's not that I don't like iGrand....just want the additional storage space back.
I don't believe MidiBridge supports midi learn. That would be perfect if its transpose function was learnable so any virtual midi app would work then.
Yeah that'd be great.
I'm no expert in midi, but it looks like iGrand and Samplewiz split the 128 midi numbers into 25 differently. The 25 being the ticks (-12, 0, +12).
So. iGrand has its + 5 transpose at between 85-89, but on Samplewis it's about 98. I'm not saying these apps have done anything incorrectly. I'm just trying to find workarounds to get the correct notes playing in either one.
I'm aiming to get a samplewiz version working soonish. It might be specific to that app until I learn a little more.
That would be great to have Samplewiz! I'm wondering if there other midi learnable aspects of Samplewiz that would make it worth looking at a performance layout In addition to a learning layout? Not meaning to overwhelm you @SpookyZoo...just seems it might be a good fit.
@funjunkie I think you're right. There must be lots of stuff. The cool tuning modulation was something that made me have that very same thought.
This was made as just a simple tool for my Music Theory curiosities. The performance part has been a cool by-product.
I would like to add more stuff to the layout, but I'm finding that some things that took me ages, I could have saved time on if only I was more aware of Midi Designers tools and features.
So that's what I'm gonna do this week. I've kinda done everything backwards...built the skin of something first then worked out its skeleton after.
It's gonna make everything quicker in the long run I guess. I'll work on the Samplewiz layout as I learn this week. It really does look like it will have to be app specific this one.
Cheers, keep up with the notes and suggestions though. It's great we can do this.
The ideas are the easy part. Is there anything I can do to help? I'm not very savvy in MD, but I can get around in it.
If you know of a way to instantly transpose down an octave all of a pages buttons and their subcontrols ?
I guess it's just a matter of getting to grips with the basics. What controls I can save and how I can utilise them elsewhere. It's pretty intuitive, I just dived in fast without taking a breath.
By the way, the evolution / expansion of the original layout is all thanks to @Hmtx highlighting the ability of creating chord buttons. Thanks
No...don't know of a way to do it, but I'll look into it and let you know if I find anything. Have you asked that on their forum?
Thanks to both of you!
Oh you're welcome, I'll settle for 20% of the profits, lol.
Really, though, I'm glad you knew what to do with the chord idea when you saw it. Way beyond my musical knowledge.
By the way, I don't think MIDIDesigner currently has the options for scripting things like transposing a whole page of note buttons. Super controls can turn buttons on and off but not change their note value. I'm going to put in a request for this, not sure how hard it would be.
Thanks. I think I'll dig in for a week, and if I have questions after that they'd probably be good ones.

@funjunkie27 this may let you claim back valuable space
A Samplewizzed version of the SIX PAGES layout.
It's a direct replica.....no fancy controls (yet!:) but it should all be mapped correctly. A few visual labels to show its a specific version too.
Set up should be easy...find the Midi Learn page in S-WIz, set transpose to 25. Activate background audio. The only other thing is to judge how it sounds, and then change the octave to taste on Samplewiz main page.
@mgmg4871 sampled Galilleo into Samplewiz , it was the closest I could get for the moment.
@SpookyZoo Very nice work. One problem is in C4 octave the C4 and D4 are the same. In C3 octave its perfect.
Thanks, which page is that...or all of them? Can change/fix soon.
I've had a few that are temporary and fleeting on opening. Abut if its still wrong, I'll have another look.
It's the samplewizzed L play page. I emailed Dev about AB support. It would be nice to have app switching feature if nothing else. I haven't tried sampling Galileo into samplewiz yet.
SpookyZoo disregard that. It must have been something in Samplewiz. It's working correctly now. Thanks. I think it was not having Sampletank set to C chromatic.
No worries, but I just noticed some incorrect visuals on that page... #9, #11 and label are wrongly placed...fixed just now. Here and replaced original link above too.

Thanks. After playing around with Samplewiz a while in MD Pro, MD Pro should definitely be on the Bus for laying down chords via Samplewiz.
Yeah...being able to build your own Audiobussable Midi Controller would be super awesome....it's all about the bar.
Check out the Goodnight Pad in Samplewiz. Very nice, and very smooth chord transitions from MD Pro.
Oh yeah!! Great find. Sounds especially nice with the bass included chords.
@SpookyZoo I think this creation of yours is worth a dedicated thread of its own, where it can easily be found by future forum members, along with guidelines on download, installation and use. It could also then be made into a sticky.
@PaulB I agree.
Here's a response I got from Dev of MD Pro.
Thanks for this. To be honest, it's the first time a user has explained to me which part of Audiobus support is relevant.
I'll be looking into this soon.
Thanks!

You have a excellent app that I will make very useful, but I would
love to see Audiobus support. I know there is no audio in MD but to
have the inter app switching would really be a plus. Thank you.
MD with AB would be great!
Loving the SampleWiz layout @SpookyZoo! I was looking for a way to change programs in SW from MD. I didn't see it in the midi learn page though. Just hoping someone might know if its possible.
Hey guys. Thanks
Nice one @mgmg4871, It's surprising it hadn't been requested beforehand. Supercool on highlighting the usefulness it would bring.
@Paul It's flattering that you suggest a thread/sticky for the layout. Thanks. I'd like to get it a bit more robust for users, and also experiment with other apps and then write up some guidelines etc. It's great that a little idea I had may becoming useful for other users too. Also would, of course need the green light on a sticky for an app not yet AB'd
@funjunkie27 Thanks man. Hope it works well with the extra space.
Yeah I couldn't find midi learn for program change either. Would having a control in the MD layout sending info to either MidiBridge or FreEWi and linked to SWiz possibly work? I don't have much experience with the Audeonic apps (yet).... a purchase looks imminent.
Finally...I'm actually using this as the tool I intended it for. Rather than mapping it.
Up until now I had been doing everything via the iPad screen. And so a really cool feature that I hadn't realised would show up was that in hooking it up to my MIDI keyboard, I'm getting the intervals light up from my external playing. I figured that feature was just one way. I guess this was referenced earlier by somebody? I just didn't click at the time.
Yeah @SpookyZoo. That's a nice feature. This app has such great potential. Glad you found this awesome usage for theory+. Can't wait to hear some of the ideas that surfac when its on The Bus.
Curious on when MD might get on the bus. I checked with the MidiBridge dev and was told:
"Unfortunately to participate in Audiobus an app must run an audio engine and adding a dummy audio engine to MidiBridge would affect its performance, so I'm sorry this is unlikely to happen with the current state of play."
If the MD dev plans on it, I wonder if he is aware of this requirement.
