I'll email him and find out. He sounded like it would be something in the near future. At first he could see no relevance for MD with AB support until I pointed out that app switching is a huge benefit to users. I'll post here with response.
Thanks @mgmg4871.
Here's one of the best chord and scale apps I've run across. It's iPhone version but Dev is working at this moment on ipad version and says you will get update to ipad version without cost.

I'll take a look. It has to be worth it since the dev states it's the right app if "You want to know how Django managed to play with two and a half fingers." That will free up a couple of fingers for other tasks ;-)
Either that or it'll slice off a few digits for you...
Lol....there's an app for that?? ;-)
Yeah, but its not digital.
Chord! is a great tool @mgmg4871! Appreciate the tip my friend! I like the small footprint. I believe it was less than 10M, since the dev chose to calculate the chords, rather than pull them from a database. I really like how it will harmonize chords and give you the relevant scales. I can get some use out of that feature for sure!
@funjunkie you're very welcome. I just stumbled on this one, but glad I did.
Good find @mgmg4871!
@mgmg4871 really like the look of Chords! It's the small things, like including semitones of intervals in the same display that can put a utility app like this in a different class.
Here's another one that's free today.

Cool...keep 'em coming @mgmg4871! Just downloaded.
Another free one if you make your own guitar charts. Really found this one after a needed break from another thread. Lol

And the price is right! Thanks again @mgmg4871. Let me know when the civil unrest clears on the other thread, will ya? ;-)
Guitar Notes. Fretboard notes trainer. (Free).

This might interest some, and its free for now. Quiztones.

Thanks for sharing, as always @mgmg4871. Here's another that I stumbled on. It's free, with IAPs available if you want more content beyond the samples provided in the free ver. You can also get the pro ver. that contains all the song bundles. It gives you backing tracks and scales/modes to improvise over them.

@funjunkie Thanks. Funny, I had that app in storage. Gotta look at it again.
This one might be very useful if it had AB support and virtual midi. Check out the video tutorials. Has some nice features. Needs IAP for import and export of midi and audio files.

Does look interesting, and the price is right! Thanks @mgmg4871. Added yet another one. At this rate, I should know something about music any day now! ;-)
Some great finds here guys!
No excuse for anyone...which puts me on the spot for learning something! I'm mainly a guitarist, and it has been pretty cool with how much this has helped even though I've really slacked on playing the guitar lately. The basics help all around!
Here's a 2 more by same Dev. There's a free version of 2nd.

I downloaded the ear training app (free ver) earlier this morning, but I haven't had a chance to play around with it yet.
I still need to get those workbooks for the Tonal Harmony app. Hoping that will help with understanding it a bit better.
IHarmony is a awesome theory app for the price. $.99 US.

What about eHarmony?

One is enough. Lol
This is one I revisited. Has very nice features, with like 2 million chords. There is a IAP for drum machine, custom instruments, and chord sheets. IAP is $4.99 US. Well worth it. Oh, chord sheet progressions has 60 AmpKit presets.

I forgot about that one @mgmg4871. Nice app, and thanks for the reminder. I didn't even know about the Ampkit presets, so that's like a gift!
