FIXED (iOS/macOS): Issue reported where iOS/macOS IAPs might not restore correctly, resolved by updating the In-App Purchase engine to use the latest StoreKit APIs and by adding an additional Store Sync option (see Restore button); this change means users with iOS 14 or earlier might have issues when purchasing or renewing IAPs and so we recommend those users update their iOS versions to 15 or later where possible.
FIXED (macOS): Issue that could prevent the audio device from being selected properly.
FIXED (macOS): Issue with audio break-up when using AirPods Pro / Max as audio output device.
FIXED (Android TV): Removed unwanted top padding area.
CHANGED: Updated JUCE SDK to version 7.0.8 (was 7.0.7).

FIXED: Workaround to issue that could cause Wotja to fail to load on some older versions of iOS/macOS.

IMPROVED: Lite mode now lets you create auto-albums, the auto-timeout on Flows and Albums has been increased to 30 mins (enjoy 30 mins of relaxing ambient generative music for FREE - perfect for a chillout!) + some other minor changes.
IMPROVED: Album Player Play screen top panel now has semi-transparent colour.
IMPROVED: When importing a Rhythmic pattern with zero duration that zero duration note is ignored.
FIXED: Rare crash in the Plug-in.
FIXED (macOS): Rare crash displaying alerts.
CHANGED: Periodically toggle the Store button text and image to "Love it!" + Cup icon.
CHANGED: In-App Store screen Tip descriptions and icons and improved wording in places.
FIXED (Android TV): Some remote control key buttons had stopped working.
FIXED (Android): Operation of Back button now acts like Escape key on Desktop.

I just got the latest free version of wotja and very interested in upgrading to pro...If I do the one time purchase, hat will only get me the full features of wotja 23 right? am I best to wait for wotja 24 and upgrading then? or does the pro give me future upgrades too? I fear not

Firstly, all updates are now free.
I think what you are referring to are Pro features. A 23 One Time Buy (OTB) permanently unlocks the 23 Pro Feature Set, but does not unlock the 24 Pro Feature Set (i.e. the New Features that will arrive in Wotja 24). You would either need to get a 24 Pro OTB to do that (and there is a similar principle for any future major version). You could alternatively considering getting a Pro Subscription which, for as long as it is active, always unlocks the latest Pro Feature Set.
We know it can be tricky to initially get one's head around, but we describe the OTB here: https://wotja.com/help/#otb and also here https://wotja.com/help/#otb-next.
So, to answer your question, it depends on you! You might perhaps wish to get a Pro Subscription for the remainder of the year and then either continue with that, or maybe get the 24 OTB when that is made available for sale in January.

If you have a device that cannot run iOS/iPadOS 15+ and want to use Wotja 23 in Pro mode then, if you have not done so already, we recommend considering purchase of the 23 Pro One Time Buy IAP whilst it is still available and before it is removed from sale on Jan 1st 2024. Otherwise, you would need to Go Pro via a Pro Subscription or Pro 30 Day Unlock.

It has been a crazy year for us in moving to one free App/OS Platform. For an app as complex as Wotja it has been a mammoth task, especially as we always want to look after all customers. Believe it or not, it has taken us a full 12 months to get in place what we needed to fully support our FeatureGrade model (for example, for the 24 OTB (once available) to work as intended).
Now that 23.14.0 is out the door we believe we have FINALLY completed the last of that work, so it is a big moment for us.
We have been beavering away in the background on New Features for Wotja 24 and already have some cool New Features ready for launch, but cannot talk about them yet
.
We will of course be adding more cool stuff during the course of 2024 and we hope that everyone enjoys the next step of the journey with Wotja 24.

Since we released the 23.14.0 update we discovered that Wotja 24 for macOS will need to have a base level macOS requirement of macOS 12 (Monterey) or later, Wotja 24 for tvOS will need to be tvOS 15 or later and Wotja 24 for watchOS will need to be watchOS 6 or later. There primary reason being the same for iOS, namely that we require support for StoreKit 2 and that is Apple's base level macOS requirement for that.
So, here are the updated Release notes.

Does iOS OTB Pro still cover iOS, ipadOS, watchOS, and macOS for a single purchase from iOS app store? Purchase from iOS app store and subsequent "restore purchase" from macOS app store still shows discount price and license isn't carried over as in the past.
