    That’s just IKs MO. Mixbox has been out a while now. They’re probably about to release mixbox 2 or some new IAPs such as the newer Fame and stoneroom reverbs.

    And then all the new customers will lose their sh1te over how much IK expect people to pay for the upgrades! :lol:

    That is entirely possible. I’ve contacted IK to inquire if this is an authorized software reseller, just in case. If they’re on the level, then it’s an amazing deal.

    I don't think its a scam, but it may well be an error! I received an email from IK, and to use mixbox I had to register and activate it in their 'IK product manager' software. So it seems pretty legit.. apart from zero mention of sunset sounds.

    I bought it, yes it’s real, not a scam. Registered the Mixbox serial with IK and got the JamPoints from them. As far as I can tell Sunset Sounds are there but I have not had time yet to play around with it to know for sure.

    be wary of all things Ujam. ive had nothing but bad experiences with their apps, as much as i want to like them, because they do sound good when they work. Constantly crashing, DELETING THEMSELVES???? (never seen this in my 20 years of producing), freezing, not opening with the last preset, not saving user presets, etc etc etc....

    Not to dispute the above but just as another point of view, I have multiple bass apps, drum apps (including Solid), and synth apps from ujam, even their finishers and I really like them all. They fit my approach of mainly playing presets, not designing my own sounds. I have experienced zero issues during the couple of years I have been using them.

    Most importantly, they have a very good trial system, so you can always see for yourself. Good luck either way!
