pigments is for sure one of the most powerful and versatile synths out there. i use it daily. its capable of all sorts of synthesis, is very easy to program, and there are tons of presets. Highly recommend, just be warned you will slide down the arturia rabbit hole and end up owning almost all of their software (and some hardware ) haha

Whew, I feel this in my bones 🤣. Luckily Arturia takes care of existing customers like no other software company I can think of. I don't think I've paid full price for any Arturia software title, and have gotten some bundles with a huge discount.

I keep saying this myself, so I have to agree with the distinguished member here.

Perhaps the only drawback of Arturia's immaculate loyalty approach is that it demonstrates how feeble, or downright nonexistent, others'* efforts are in comparison 🙂

*Izotope is probably the worst but there are definitely others who just don't really care about existing customers

I love Arturia so much, I wanna own all their stuff.

    Current Arturia collection:
    1. V Collection
    2. FX Collection
    3. DrumBrute Impact
    4. MicroBrute
    5. MicroFreak
    6. BeatStep Pro
    7. KeyStep 37

I wish most companies understood loyalty better because they would make a lot more money. I live in the Southern United States and Publix is king when it comes to grocery stores. People pay more at Publix because the service and loyalty is top notch.

i recently walked away from izotope and let them know that its because of their trash loyalty program. they wanted 230$ for upgrade from music production suite 5 - 6. For what they added ( a couple new modules in Ozone and Nectar, not worth it whatsoever). They added guitar rig from Native instruments as well, but i dont need it, and it sucks anyways.

    zero regard for longtime customers.

Many others are abandoning ship too, every time i see it brought up in forums recently, people have a bad taste

  • Ditching izotope was pretty easy. I found their plug-ins easily replaced by others and for less of a cpu hit too and a lot less bullshit.

Also, on audio deluxe, if you buy anything in October, you get IK tape machine 80 for free. Quite a nice giveaway, IK is another company that drives me nuts a bit but they do tape emulations really well

    TAL-DRUM for $8 is a crazy deal!

  • TAL Drum is ‘out of stock’ along with TAL J8 unfortunately

  • Yes, it sucks because there was no info about it at the time I was buying TAL-J8 & TAL Drum. I payed for both, but only received serial number for J8. I hope I eventually get sn for TAL Drum, this is fantastic instrument that I can't afford at full price at the moment :(

I ordered both, as yet I haven’t received a serial for either, hopefully they will get more serial numbers delivered from the developers, I’ve seen it happen before at other distributors.

  • Fingers crossed

  • Whilst you’re waiting for your drum serial numbers you can get Denise audio Bad tape, slappy and my Crush free from their website if you sign up for a newsletter.

Starting to look like this was a mistake or something. No TAL products even listed on Audio Deluxe any more.

  • edited October 2023

It’s taken some time but I’ve just received my serial for TAL - J8, still not for Drum, but it’s progress.

In a separate email, they say they are awaiting more serial’s from the US Distributor.

  • BFD are giving away their BFD player software with a 5GB real drum library.

ive used some of these rompler type "trap" synths over the years. theres countless of them out there, and they all suck. some may have some good sounds, but they are not reliable, bugs, crashing, and theres zero support or updates.
