Flash sale. Yeah it’s Kontakt full and everything but if you download the zip file contains the samples. Over 3500 I think this is pretty good deal

They have a video up too. Flash sales are a regular thing on rigid audio 👍🏼

    Good catch, thank you.

I do have full Kontakt, and I have been picking up their stuff on these flash sales. Thank you for the alerts, do keep them coming! 😉👍

Is this output plugin something different than infiltrator 2 and shaperbox? I believe to notice similarities between those?! I am curious if one will ever get a portal thermal 59€ deal or so :)

Got the RC-20 for 17 € last year in February, paid $149 for Movement via Splice's Rent to Own though. Both good plugins but rarely used here for some reasons.

My next buy will be Baby Audio's Smooth Operator which is $34.98 at Audio Deluxe (when put in cart) for the next nine days, even less if you have some of these 'Deluxe Bucks'.

Wow, you got an excellent deal on RC-20 🙌🏽
I gotta say, Output’s effects are exactly my cup of tea. They do the things that I have enjoyed doing with sounds for the last 20+ years making music, but easier and they do it with an interface I understand and enjoy. Even if I paid full price, the value for me would exceed the price 100x over. I really like Output’s way of thinking!

I'm like @Stuntman_mike apparently 😀 - I also like Output's stuff. I have all their non-subscription apps and each is unique in some way, effects and instruments equally.

@david_2017 if you are interested in something along the lines of infiltrator and shaperbox (but subjectively more musical to my ears), check out DS Audio Tantra 2 on plugin alliance. I wouldn't touch it at the full price of 200, but when it goes on sale for about 30 units, it's a gem. There is a demo as well, so you can try for yourself. (The same things are true for DS Audio's synth app, Thorn as well btw.)

  • Has anyone else tried this?

Sounds pretty good to me and I might get it as an alternative to getting audiothing’s springs on desktop as well as on iOS… pretty drippy and it’s got slinky IRs 😄

I haven’t tried this one, but can vouch for Boz Labs I do own a few of their plugins, good quality for the price.

Yeah it’s a decent price right now and worth a demo for the spring enthusiasts; three different algorithmic models with four controls on each, then a whole bunch of interesting varieties of impulse responses…

  • @cabo the plugin sounds impressive but what is the advantage over the free version?

Advanced controls and more options to manipulate the sound as desired in more detail I would say. I think it could be a good learning tool about how compression works too following the explanation in the video of Mr. Worrall for instance.

Fabien of TDR says in the Gearspace forum:

In order to learn the full depth of functions/features, it's likely better to use Molot GE instead. Here all this stuff is documented in clear words: feed-back, feed-forward, crazy stuff in between, exotic SC processing and stereo linking, the "wild EQ" or saturator, it's all there and ready for experimentation (also in isolation vs other features).

Molotok is not meant to be educative. It's an abstraction of the big thing, with many details hidden. In the creative context, this is often an advantage. Molot GE is more open, almost a "build your own vintage compressor" kit.

    here's the manual

tl;dr - the free version is less nerdy and more immediate, which may be a good or bad thing depending on your attitude to using compression.

I think I have enough nerdy plugins. Today I like it easy. 😂 It's amazing how many free versions they offer. Quite generous. Especially the EQ Nova offers great value for a free plugin. https://www.tokyodawn.net/tdr-nova/

TDR plugins are really excellent especially when you can get the GE and ME versions in a sale, Dan Worrall often compares them favourably to his industry standard Fab Filter plugins.

I bought Atlas last year at a 50% discount. Really good plugin to navigate a vast drum sample library. You can create multiple libraries that you can then navigate with the map. For instance I have the samples from Mars in its own library. Usually I‘m using the internal sequencer only for quickly creating a beat also using the sample randomizer. It randomizes per instrument like snares, kicks, hats, etc. In the end I drag and drop the samples then into the drum sampler of my DAW. Nice workflow. I can recommend it.
