Done! Thanks for making such a useful app, I’ve got dozens of IAA apps that I can now use in logic! V. Happy

I've been using this app to send MIDI out and Audio out from Garageband to AUM and it works great. Does anyone know if there is a way to send audio into Garageband using this? I've tried to set it up using AUM as a source but it's only possible to add the Loopback Out as an instrument, and I don't see how to make it generate or pass through audio.

I've used Wireless Audio AUv3 to send audio out from AUM to Garageband , which works, but the latency is a bit too high for my needs.

In any case, this is a great app and KQ Sampei by the same developer is one of my favorite MIDI file players and general MIDI instruments. Kudos to the dev.

I cant send audio from GB to AUM as it says it has a different sample rate and had these random drops that i think are related to the diffrent sample rates.

Aum is locked to 44khz and i cant seem to be able tomchange it to 44.1 no matter what i do

In v1.2, there is an option, "Stability". Increase that value in the Loopback Out/Mixer and it will be better though the latency might be increased.
You should also try booting the DAWs in a different order.

    It works almost perfectly, thanks!

  • Could this be used to send the audio from a GarageBand drummer to Cubasis for recording ?

  • can you send midi/audio from the old audiobus2 to cubasis3 ?

    Audiobus 2 doesn't do midi.
I re-installed AB2 to test audio. I'm waiting while it updates its plugin lists to see if Loopback appears.

What could this do that you can't already do with AB2 into Cubasis already? I don't get it.

  • A question about this, can I use it in Logic Pro to do the following:

Track 1: Contains a MIDI generator, e.g. Particles, sending MIDI into an instrument, e.g. Alchemy
Track 2: Receive the MIDI from Track 1, pipe it through a MIDI effect , e.g. MIDI Gates, and then on to an instrument, e.g. Sculpture
