  • Bunch of other new stuff, all $9.99.
I suppose there is a bundle, but there is the usual AppStore delay on the release of said bundle.

But there is a bunch of new, unbundled stuff from moog

  • Oh boy! That's interesting!

  • I couldn’t believe there wasn’t a thread. I get excited when Moog drop something.

This is the product page for those wanting to learn more:
    https://www.moogmusic.com/products/moogerfooger-effects-plug-ins

From the App Store screenshots, it looks like they did implement the inter-plugin CV modulation system, they were not sure if it was possible on iOS when they were released for desktop.

Thanks not sure how I missed that was so excited to see one, lol.

  • I’m greedy and grabbed 4 of them already smh lol

  • Awesome, grabbed the phaser.

  • I got the delay just to get over Lunar Lander :D

    wow…very nice!

I wonder if they work on macOS or vice versa? hmm…

  • This is the news! 🤩 I'm taking those two filters, and I'll only purchase additional apps if they are necessary.

  • I’m getting the Murf, have my eye on the low pass and the Freqbox…

  • Need expert advice ( Maybe Dendy or similar )

Because recall him saying even the filter on model d isnt the best?

Apart from the low pass filter and after making a 303 patch.

To make 303 patterns ( I can find out )

Is just either key with modualtion and filter plus 303 parameters and maybe arps.

So wonder if the sequenced version has any 303 functionality here.

On Model D there is nasty aliasing noise when you use high resonance. This s not present on HW, of course. It makes plugin unusable for more extreme sounds. Also fast LFO->Filter modulation sounds not good when compared to real HW.

If they bring bundle for some reasonable price, i will buy it and let you know.. Anyway moog filter is very different from 303 filter, it's just completely different circuitry, so also emulation sounds very different.

Anyway, 303 sound is not just about filter type (of course it adds to character a lot too) but also about sequence structure and envelopes (and especially accent behaviour)

I would say, on iOS if you are into 303 just use Pure Acid app and you are there.

If you want more experimental approach then Butter Synth has pretty decent 303 filter emulation .. other than that there are few rules how to build something which at least remotely reminds 303 lines

    • for filter/amp envelope use just Attack and Decay - original 303 has just these two parameters (no sustain, no release - if your sysnt of choice has standard ADSR envelope, just set Sustain and Release to zero)
    • it has very short attack and very long (exponential) decay

Then crucial thing which adds to 303 vibe is accent on few notes .. what accent on original 303 does is

    • it shortens filter envelope decay significantly
    • it adds more filter envelope modulation
    • it increases volume of that note

read this article, there is very detail analyse, after understanding those concepts, you should be able to make at least a 303-kind of bassline on every synth with saw/square oscillator and amp / filter envelopes ... of course somewhere you can get more close, somewhere less close.. it will be never the same so if you want really 1:1 faithful reproduction just grab Pure Acid.

  • If you're also using a desktop computer, Moog has their MF-102S Ring Modulator on sale at $9.99 right now. Must be a teaser price because all of the other desktop software is considerably more money ($59, $69 and $79).

    Thanks Dendy.

    Got pure acid and troublemaker.

    Will read article.

    I listened to Kettel ( a musician I posted before )

From recall I added a delay effect lol

but I guess if from recall theres any delay.

Must be different envelopes for the amp and filter.

Dendy, I will copy this observation to my notes, where I keep other filter stuff. Thank you. 🫶

  • If you're into that "303" sound, try

while Troublemaker is really good, if you want top notch clone then Pure Acid is better choice (it's REALLY close to iriginal) .. Troublemaker is better in case you want a "kind of 303" character / workflow but you want to go more experimental (thanks to different oscillator wave spes, and more tweak parameres when it comes to envelope/accent character)

  • Hmm might buy freqbox ( instead of phasemutant )

  • The delay is excellent, and I also bought the MuRF. They integrate perfectly into Drambo-all parameters can be mapped.

They do not. They don't even show up as available in the Mac App Store. I guess you're supposed to buy the proper Mac versions. I wonder if those will "sync" if you use the iOS and Mac versions in a Logic Pro project?

  • Does anyone have a clue or guess on the bundle-price?

  • Bundle price will be $39.99 for all eight when it’s live FYI.

Cool, that's quite a saving especially here in Sweden with the current exchange rate...
...and I've got enough store credits left just in case...

  • Wait on the bundle I think
