how does the bundle update look like when i buy one of them?
they are 9.99€ each and the bundle 44:99€ in europe
Add delay after the filter?
And if you need to filter the delayed sound add another filter.
My opinion so far is the delay and filter sound really good as does the phaser. They're my favorites going by quick first impression but I like all of the effects so far.
I have yet to discover how I'm going to use FreqBox and MuRF. I think once I start connecting the apps together I'll find out what those two are good at. I suppose it's time to look at some YouTube videos.
You can hear a demo of the delay I posted earlier in this thread.
Turnado ring modulator is better than Moogs for modulation. Turnado you can use the sequence waveform. Lfo that, then lfo that etc but with an envelope follower to key ( I think ) Moog is either the sequence waveform or not.
But moog has drive that dosent appear to distort. Unless it is.
So maybe use Turnado for less volume patches.
The fm module is still cool. Seems better to add a lower tone.
Dont think I need the saturator as I just bought Bleass as a low cpu or different use than saturn.
So I guess do I need a filter and the murf.
So I think I bought the correct apps, initially unless all the apps are cool etc.
There's no envelope follower in Bleass saturator and most honestly Bleass effects do sound pretty 'plastic' and 'sterile' compared to the Moog stuff which are completely different animals.
@Slush Dig it. I like dubby minimal stuff. The effects sound good. Anything Moog I purchase and this just expedited the download for me. Cool stuff.
Were just going to post.
Dont like the bleass waveshaper
and the moog sounds better.
And I doubt my machine even for drums and bass is ok for x 2 saturn.
Off topic but with adding apps. I should have bought an even better ipad than an ipad 9 perhaps just for this part, as the ipad I thought might be lesser stuff needs, is now the most but better still. Not bought 3 ipads. You dont really gain anything with multi ipads.
Suffer once? I’ve been abstaining for quite a while now, but this bundle on intro was too good to pass up.
Il buy the bundle likely now ( just being cheap to moog ) but saturn is about same cpu as moog. Without modulation. So maybe the same use case but without an envelope follower ?
Do you need an envelope follower with saturn. Is the envelope follower module in drambo iv seen. Something you setup for auv3 apps?
My gut tells me it will take a long time before other effects of similar caliber pop up...
...these Moog things are in a league of their own, at least for now
Great price. Phenomenal quality. iPad is happy.
The ring mod app - the manual mentions a link control to link drive and output and says it is just below the output knob. I don't see one. Anyone know where it is? Also, anyone know what are the venn diagram style circles at the top for?
Both vids I linked earlier demonstrate the ‘CV’ connectivity.
From 31:21
From 15:00
How the hell is to change murf pattern lenght? Anyone knows?
The circles on top are A<->B so you can quickly swap states to check out how the changes affect the sound.
(So when you tweak a preset you can go back to the state before you tweaked it).
The Manual calls it 'Compare Switch'.
You are right Samu.
Ring and fm mod were keepers.
Saturator is better than saturn for some cases
and the filter is better than the Drambo filter.
So you get free apps also.
Me? No I bought these
Thanks, hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
Jeez, need better eyes than I have to see that link button! Thnx @Samu and @R_2
Fantastico
Bundle to be taken on the fly before it costs an eye
connected lpd8 for midi control,amazing
Forza Moog
Hmm. Took the plunge this morning, and after an hour and a half of fiddling with these, TBH I’m a bit disappointed. I’m obviously going to have to watch some tutorials and plough my way through the manuals, so I’m reserving judgement for now, but even the presets seem a bit meh so far. Usually after that amount of time I’d have got at least one usable result, but so far no joy.
If you can be bothered with iLock you get get a trial on the desktop. Really we should have trials on the ios versions too.
Very happy with the MuRF, which is also one of the closest sounding to the hardware pedals. I expect I will also get the filter on ipad, but leave the others for now. Worth doing the demo though as you can get a feel for how much you might use them.
will the bundle price stay or is that a intro?
Apps are great.
I dont usually like effects because they dont sound part of the synth. Maybe just didnt bother to ever tweak other effects
With the moog.. They sound part of a synth. Vibrato/tremolo-ish additional oscilators. With drive that dosent distort.
Thought the murf style filtering thing wouldnt be for me but seemed great with a quick tweak.
Not that bothered about phasers etc but Im sure they will be good.
Thats what the apps are generally for. To make a synth from a synth or oscilator and it sound as good as your best synth or better.
But you have to build it through the effects ( obviously )
Has anyone bought a single app and can confirm it takes that amount off the bundle price? I can’t really justify all of them but thinking about just getting MuRF for now.
Yeah.
9.99 off etc.
I bought 4 for £39.96. When bundle appeared a few hours afterwards, the price was £0.49.
