Bundle price will be $39.99 for all eight when it’s live FYI.

Cool, that's quite a saving especially here in Sweden with the current exchange rate...
...and I've got enough store credits left just in case...

Considering one of these costs between $59-$79 on desktop, it’s crazy good value, yeah.

Well, Moog almost immediately started a pricedrop on the individual plugins after the initial desktop release. I bought the total (desktop)package at the release and will wait to see these iOS version drop too.

Yeah I think I got the lot for around £120 less a few bucks I had on plugin boutique in vouchers… glad to see them here and £40 isn’t so bad to get them again in mobile form… they’ll probably be more of a pleasure to use with touch, though my old iPad might struggle quickly with more than a couple at once…

The delay is excellent, and I also bought the MuRF. They integrate perfectly into Drambo-all parameters can be mapped.

The sidechain CV input pairs fairly well with Drambo's CV implementation to, gets pretty crazy when going into the audio range

  • Filtatron was my fave… which of these replaces filtatron?

I think you need to use two of them, filter and delay.

  • :) Thank you @Samu

    @GBevin is this your work?

  • Sound on Sound review of the desktop versions, except the Saturator, which came out after the review: https://www.soundonsound.com/reviews/moog-moogerfooger-plug-ins

  • I got the whole desktop package for $99 American when it came out. Amazing deal.

  • While I may pick up this bundle eventually, hearing about this mostly made me want to try remaking the MuRF in FabFilter Volcano (+ Drambo maybe). While the demos I heard (of the desktop version) seem pretty good, the highs sound worse than what I think FabFilter can achieve.

  • Very useful review!

One problem it mentions, and I really do see this as a big oversight, is:

'What I miss is some external control options beyond CV, especially via MIDI. Currently none of the plug‑ins publish themselves as MIDI destinations to their host DAW, and I think they really should. To be able to play the Freqbox’s oscillator via MIDI, as was possible on the original via CV, would make it quite a bit more useful and usable. The same goes for the MF‑102 ring modulator.'

Wondering if the ios versions have been updated? Things like ring mod also really benefit from midi input.

AUParameter automation should work...(AUParameters are needed to session recall to work).
Maybe not Midi CC but you use the host to map Midi CC to AUParameter in for example AUM.

Really. That’s a solid discount. Well if you get one at $9.99 then your bundle will only be $30, so it couldn’t hurt to try one if your interested.

  • aaahhh the moogerfoogers... legendary! Glad i bought mine before the silly prices. however, wish i had the analogue delay.

Have not bought any of them yet so I can't check...
For me personally AUParemater automation will be more than enough.

Maybe Moog will send you promo-codes so you can do videos on them if you ask them nicely?! :sunglasses:

Here’s what I came up with this morning after buying the Murf, here heard bashing Hainbach’s Gong Amp around:

I think ‘ll do a longer bit of this with proper visuals for my ‘drone’ section on the YouTubes when I’ve got time. I kind of like it.

*Fun fact: kicking the gong around, as per the Cab Calloway classic, was slang for smoking opium, from Chinese opium dens of the last century where customers struck a gong to make the attendant come and bring them a pipe.

Also: Cab was fantastic, wasn’t he? Bandleader, singer, performer, inventor of the moonwalk… the whole package… I see him, and I think James Brown, Michael Jackson, Prince… he was there ahead of them.

This demo ticks my boxes! I listened to some demos of the murf and the freq box online and they were pretty dull - purely the lack of imagination of the demo-makers rather than the plugins I’m sure. Really keen to get my hands on these!

  • Moog cluster flux demo has some good bits!

12.99$CAD for a low pass filter. It must be a really incredible low pass .

Low pass, not low price.

It takes all the high end out of your wallet.

  • When you cant program synths but maybe sounds like Murcof ( A cool musician from Mexico )

Nice! I’ve been hoping these would come to iOS for a while and I’m glad to see they finally have. MurF and FreqBox are definites but I’ll probably wait on the bundle to get them all. Half off the price of buying them separately. Seems like a great deal.

Not sure I can hold out on MurF though I need it now lol

For everyone saying waiting for bundle, if you buy one or two now it just deducts that from the cost of the bundle and tells you the reduced price to complete the bundle . Paying for one now will lead tge bundle to be 9.99 less so it would be $30 instead of $39.99 as a few people already noted, and so on so just don’t get more than 4.
If you get 4 you can complete at $0. That’s why people get excited at new bundles when they have already bought some of the full priced apps and see that the bundle is $0 since they already paid the total bundle price for a few of the apps at full price

The only time it doesn’t look right to complete a bundle is if you got apps on sale since it deducts sale price from cost of bundle and not full price . And the only time it doesn’t work for purchased apps to count towards a bundle is if they already counted towards a different bundle. (for example, black hole can’t count towards both eventide fx bundles it’s in ) and my magic fx bundle of 3 apps purchase couldn’t count towards the new bundle of fx that included the vocoder because the dev made a second bundle instead of an updated one, sadly. )

Seriously , you’re just waiting to spend $39.99 at once rather than paying some now and the remaining later. I bought two. I’ll screenshot what I’m talking about when the bundle arrives and it’s cut in half for the remaining 6 apps. I’ve done this fir no problem when I’ve gotten the fab filter bundle for example , I bought two apps at full price at different times then later completed bundle for much lower price , and other bundles as well.

but 2nd demo I guess needed the fm and ring modulation.

Which probably means to buy the bundle.

  • Yeah, I think in general the only time this doesn't work is for IAPs. If I understand correctly, it is not possible for individual IAP purchases to count towards bundle IAPs, which is why, for example for Geoshred, if you want a particular IAP bundle you should just buy it directly, and not buy any single IAPs from that bundle in advance.
