  • Are the 9,99 intro prices ? Does anyone know that?

  • Old vid about combining these:

  • First 10 minutes with the MF-104S Delay on a simple stab (with some rhythm to spice it up).
Just preset flipping and some tweaking. Very cool and interesting delay, love the possibilities and vintage/modern settings. Also bought the MURF but did not check it out yet. Probably will buy the bundle when available.

  • Just been looking and these (or rather, the hardware originals) have superb manuals on the Moog website - https://www.moogmusic.com/downloads

Really in depth but understandable instructions on what each effect’s controls are doing behind the scenes and how to use them effectively, plus really helpful ‘sound theory’ to refresh and enlighten. They make the perfect counterpoint to those suggesting that learning how to use a plug-in by playing around with it was all that was needed (on the Dagger thread). I know both approaches can yield results, but these manuals give really insightful information which, I think, will greatly enhance the creativity possible with these effects and actually increase understanding of using audio in general.

aaahhh the moogerfoogers... legendary! Glad i bought mine before the silly prices. however, wish i had the analogue delay.

    🤤

  • I'm just waiting for the bundle to pop up in the AppStore...

  • While munching on a sandwich and some soup, a first 10 minutes testing the Moog MF-105S MuRF (no not Smurf). Preset surfing and some fiddling with the settings. I put it behind the MF-104S delay, see vid above. These are super interesting quality fx, just love it!

    Cheers Slush.

Would you swap the delay for mantis ( or would you swap the delay and murf ) for mantis.

Although murf isnt a mantis and the delay isnt the same.

    If you own saturn.

Do you think murf plus moog saturation.

    Is a low cpu saturn.

Do the bands of murf filter distortion.

Like if saturn bands are for distortion.

    Edit.

Dont worry. The app combo wouldnt be a saturn. Which is generally EQ and not filter, Id say.

  • I bought some moog apps.

If murf and moog saturatur can be a low cpu saturn.

    Id buy the bundle.

  • bundle has landed

  • Bundle available if you click on one of the apps it says “also available in moogerfooger effects bundle”

can you connect each other in the ios version?

    edit: yes you can

  • Anybody know what the MF-106S is or if there is such a FX unit?
Maybe they just like to arbitrarily skip a number in their series?

Just curious, but not enough to look it up. 🤣

  • iam still holding back with this. i think iam complete with mirack.

how do the ios versions sound?

  • That was fast. Getting this.

  • All eight..FEELING GREAT!!

  • It says the individual ones are 33% off but unclear if the bundle price will also increase after the sale

They did bring that up in the SOS article: https://www.soundonsound.com/reviews/moog-moogerfooger-plug-ins#para5

Eagle‑eyed readers will have spotted that there’s no MF‑106. That’s not a missing plug‑in: as Moog nerds will already know, there was never a hardware 106 either. As far as I’m aware no official explanation has ever been given for the omission. Some have speculated one was planned but never made it to production. Others that a naming clash with Roland’s well‑known and widespread Juno‑106 synth was consciously avoided; but in which case, why not also with the SH‑101?

We’ll probably never know, and the gap lives on as one of the many quirks of the series.

I guess if the individual prices are due to go up then the bundle will likely become half the combined price of all of the apps at the new price?

I do love the icons on these
Curious to hear your thoughts about the quality of them compared to the stock stuff in Logic (Step FX, etc).

44,99€ here! My initial plan was to take those two filters, then add MuRF to the list (blame @Slush 😉), then like a bull in a china shop, why not get them all! 😂

  • It's a blast...

A simple 55Hz Saw wave from auGEN X and a bunch of Moog stuff and Roast Beef as the limiter...
