Seem I am getting Send Grooves to ALL Lumbeat Drummers,now.. Reggae, Indian Drummer, etc. Seems there is a bug in Future Drummer, so it is my only Drummer that cannot send Groove to iBassist..
Interesting..
Indian Drummer does not show up for me, then again, I don't have a problem get it going with Future D. (iPad Pro M1 -- iOS 17.1.2)
Edit: I got it to work Indian D. as well, it's just not showing in the list of icons, guess it's limited.
Yes, seems iBassist does not 'Make Drum' to Indian Drummer... Noticed that before the update (I forgot about it). But It does 'Send Groove' to iBassist... Some stunning basslines are being generated...
Thanks.
@LuisMartinez I tried to report this as a bug, but couldn't find a way to contact you / support so mentioning it again here
Basically if I only want to use the AUv3 for the instrument (sound module) it will always reset to the default state when I reopen the project
Does anyone else have a problem with incorrect note off? It doesn't matter if I use internal iBassist AU instrument or iBassist MIDI with route to external AU. From time to time I get an unnaturally long note, usually at least once every 8 bars.
Hi. iBassist has been updated improving Save Presets & States
Should be fixed, let me know
Umm mmm... send me private message with more info, please
Thank you, PM sent.
@LuisMartinez It seems that Song Mode doesn’t work any more. Tried in AUM and Audio Evolution. No bass playing in Song Mode. Is this a known issue, do others have the same problem. Thanks
@LuisMartinez iBassist auv3 does not show up at all in Cubasis. Bug ?
It works fine here.
Maybe try a reboot?
I did a re install, opened the stand alone, reboot. Still not being see inside Cubasis 3. But i been using it in Audiobus no problem since the auv3 came out. 🤷🏼🤷🏻
Is anyone finding thag when you send chords in the first beat of a new chord still plays the previous chord on the bass?
Previous chord or previous note?
If note, I already reported this to Luis and have no solution/fix yet.

Double post
If ibassist auv3 is playing a d, upon receiving an a minor chord it continues playing off a d until the second beat of the new measure, and then it switches to playing an a off the a minor.
If you use the eigths bass line preset it's easy to see this behavior.
Accidental post.
Yes I get that in Audiobus.
@LuisMartinez i re installed Cubasis and still no luck.
You're not trying to add it as a MIDI FX are you? It can only be added as an instrument.
Doh ! Really ? Why ? In Audiobus you can use it as a midi generator. That’s the only way I use it.
Audiobus and AUM you load both MIDI FX and MIDI capable Instruments in the same position. Cubasis, and many other DAWs only let you place pure MIDI FX in a MIDI FX slot. A pure MIDI FX doesn't have any audio capabilities. Developers sometimes assume that anything that can receive or produce audio has no place in a MIDI FX position.
It's a by-product of Apple's categorization of plugins and the vague way the whole AUv3 MIDI capability was defined. They never have provided much more clarity than a brief mention at a WWDC presentation years ago. It's been years and years and many developers often still don't get the various ways people want to use MIDI capable plugins. We end up with all kinds of routing and recording shortfalls. It's getting better, slowly, though.
Thank you for the explanation Wim 👍
