Yes, on my iPhone 12 Pro also.
On the iPad it’s still ok.
I’ve downloaded Xinematix again to try it to see if it’s worth buying the sound pack. It makes no sound at all either alone or as an AUv3. iPad Air 2023 latest OS
Any ideas?
Is your storage set to local or a external place ?
Would love to know this too!
Does anyone know how to contact the developer? I’ve tried a couple of times with no success.
You can try @VirSyn or contact via the web-page if you haven't already?
Harry has been very quiet lately, I hope everything is fine. 🙏 This forum can be really stressful for any developer, we all know this.
That’s what I’ve tried already Sam.
Using the app on iPhone. The keyboard seems to cover up the different reverb "rooms" and there is no way to minimize the keyboard. It also seems most of the sounds have reverb on them regardless of the slider being turned all the way to zero
Downloaded the latest update and now the AUv3 is not showing?
Turn your device off and on the see if the AUv3 is detected upon reboot. That typically the problem. Frustrating but faster than a reinstall and more likely to change things.
Thanks, that worked.
For anyone that hasn’t joined the Xinematix user base… all the instruments and samples are made available for instrument creation in @Virsyn’s AudioLayer Sampler app too at no additional cost.
This used to be prohibitively expensive but it's now an absolute bargain at £19.99 to unlock all the samples. Sound quality is excellent.
@VirSyn
The parameter is definitely in the list of AUParameters, but it’s not working here.
Anyone else?
I’m using a 5th gen iPad Pro M1 1TB, with iPadOS 17.5.1
Not only rainbow slider, any control is not working in LP4i automation for me. I tried to fix this with different routing and in settings without success. Probably need more time. Maybe @Samu will know more?!
Strangely the rainbow works if you assign say an LFO as the input to Xinematix via the Connect MIDI Sources window (in AUM) but not if you define the LFO channel and CC number in the normal way via the Midi Controls window. The other parameters work for me in the normal way.
Don't have the app in question (no need for it) there are some things worth checking.
Usually when it comes to AU automation there is no need to do any internal midi-routing.
In fact if you do the 'Internal Midi' routing thing you HAVE to manually enable writing of region/track automation (top right in the plug-in view), this is a most likely a bug in LogicPro for iPad as automation recording works perfectly when Internal Midi is not routed.
Even when a Plug-In exposes AUParameters they also need to send release-events as well in order for Logic to record the parameter automation when the plug-in UI is tweaked and this is something plug-in developers have to add to fully comply with the AUv3 specification.
The only Virsyn app I still have installed is TeraPro and it doesn't send any release events (ie. I can't use the plug-in UI to record automation in LP4i but I can draw it by hand) so that's something @VirSyn has to look into and eventually adding.
As I usually draw the automation when needed this isn't a big issue for me personally.
Automation is drawn with pencil for selected automation parameter, in this case “XinematiX: Rainbow blender”. Different routing and settings were tried in the XinematiX setup. BTW, XinematiX is free. Thank you, Sam. 🫡

Goodie, I thought your intention was to use the Plug-In UI record the automation.
Most of the time I just do point to point automation with curves but I do use the Apple Pencil for a lot of other stuff even though I don't have sausage-fingers
no rainbow au automation luck in bm3 or ns2
Did you try to draw in the automation manually for the rainbow parameter?
(This is how I do automation for TeraPro as t doesn’t send any release events when tweaking the UI).
Guess what? I found a secretly hidden long tap button for a crucial option that should be listed in the settings menu. 🤦♂️
Also, I found that in LP4i you need to specify track MIDI out channel because “All” was selecting an arbitrary channel, then you need to specify desired MIDI input in XinematiX.
Now it works, but you can’t use “Latch” recording, or I need to find another hack. 😌
Latch recording should work if you use the plug-in UI to automate the 'rainbow' and enable latch mode in the automation pop-up top right in the plug-in view.
CC#1 (Mod Wheel) feels pretty natural for the rainbow.
I usually just draw the automation if it spans for more than a few bars
all my presets are gone, in Xinematix. it's many hours of work creating the right sounds that have disappeared with the new Update
