Finally got this … downloaded most of the sounds. I notice the volume is a bit low compared to my other apps (Flowtones in comparison is loud af) but I can fix that
Yep the volume may be lower than other apps, but I think that's a good thing. Gives headspace to the sounds.
I have the same issue when using as AU, but thought it was just because I have smaller screen size (using iPhone 15 plus).
Nice summary, I can't agree more.
I’ve been using Xinematic together with Midi Guitar 2 in AUM. Some of the presets sound absolutely amazing with a little tweaking. The only problem I’m running into, is that AUM doesn’t remember the Xinematix presets when I save, close and reopen the session. It seems to always default back to the preset, First Contact. Having a lot of fun with the app in spite of this. Feel better, Harry!
I haven't tried it in other daws as an AU yet but I'm on an 11" ipad,
Just tried it in Cubasis and NanoStudio and the plugin shows its full interface. Must just be an issue in Logic?
I have the issue everywhere except Dawnbeat on iPhone hence thinking it was a display size issue initially.
Images show how it displays in Dawnbeat, Nodes, Audio Evolution, AUM and GarageBand. No multi-sound preset bar.
Does anyone know if it's possible to control that "latch" button on the bottom left side? Or use an external controller with it like a pedal? That would be helpful.
Could I ask you for favor, @FruityLoop? Do you have a chance to try this display size issue in Audio Evolution with any of these apps? NeoSoulKeys2, Pure Synth Platinum, King Of FM, King of Digital, King Of Bass, Nerd Synth A2X
I'm interested in this because all of these applications, including XinematiX, have a similar display size problem in my N-Track Studio.
No problem. Haven’t really noticed any issues with those ones in use, but I do note that the settings bar is missing on most. Below are each except NeoSoulKeys open in AEM and standalone on the same device:
Thank you @FruityLoop for your screenshots. So, like me, you don't see all the parameters from the apps:

Yeah, same thing by the looks of it. Noticed it immediately with Xinematix as the main preset option was missing but have used these loads without ever noticing 😳🫣
When I hook up an external SSD to the iPad mini, the slider is not functional. When the SSD is removed, it works. Using the SanDisk Extreme 2tb. I did report via website and understand what the dev is going through right now.
Does anyone else have a similar experience?
Yes, it is known issue, not fixed yet.
Thank you.
I am late to the party but how do you delete downloaded sounds .
Delete the whole app and re-install. For which reason I’m previewing the library on my iPhone which has plenty of storage space so I only need to download what I use onto my iPad.
Oh ok the nuclear way. Thanks for the info.
XinematiX is updated to 2.0.4
Thanks for alert, @ninobeatz
Has anyone found a way to use the Xinematix sounds on Mac? Audiolayer works on M1 but there's no way I can see to sign in through it to get the sounds.
Bravo @VirSyn!
Can confirm the bugs seen with external SSD are fixed. Thank you.
Do you mean a bug with non-functional slider? Mine is moved now but position is not saved (Loopy Pro)
Are application files exposed to the root user on MacOS? If yes, then the sample files for Xinematix could be exposed and extractable by users. IOS file system security was intended to protect app data from re-purposing by users I suspect. Files like Music Purchases back in the early years of IOS development.
I think I tried using Xinematix files in a new AudioLayer instrument… then exporting that instrument and seeing if I could open the archived files and get to the samples… that did not work but maybe importing the instrument on a Mac with Audiolayer might be an alternate path to get some sounds over.
Does the IOS file security on an external drive also maintain file security when that drive is mounted onto another system OS?
Since the update , the AU is no longer full screen in GarageBand on my iPhone 13 Pro Max it’s on the ver
Has anyone managed to run more than three instances of Xinematix using an external SSD drive?
The only patch that works without the in-app purchase is “a first contact”. A bunch of other patches can be scrolled through in the selector, but none of them have any sound. Is that intended behavior?
Thanks for giving it some thought.
I don't have the space on my iPad to download much but I may take a look tomorrow.
at the bottom of the "selector" should see text saying "Show library" - click this to show only the ones in your library as opposed to "show all"
