Couldn’t say it better myself!
Moog Mariana is crazy good, sounds remarkable good and is a joy to play & program.
Thanks so much for your kind words. That means everything to us!
❤️ your friends at Moog
Couldn’t agree more. And sound wise it’s become one of my favorites and one of the best on iOS, imo. Excellent plugin.
So I had a eureka moment with Animoog lately where I realised I can send MIDI (via transmitted bluetooth MIDI) from Animoog and map it to the macOS Animoog! Essentially controlling the Mac Animoog with the touch interface.
So I was wondering if I can do the same with the iPadOS Mariana controlling the macOS version even though it isn't AUv3 like with Animoog? (I assume its AUv2 not AUv3 because of the separate charging.)
I’m curious: what’s the advantage of running it on the Mac? I’m assuming more memory and CPU power?
Yep, i can only run one instance of Mariana on my older iPad Rro so also being able to run it in a desktop DAW such as Ableton where you can record and edit the MPE midi is definitely appealing. But I’d need to be able play it with the iPad’s touch keyboard, hence my inquiry.
I brought it anyway, Plugin Boutique has a nice big sale 50(ish)% sale!
Tell me, does anyone's built-in Mariana keyboard not work when writing to a Daw? I've already tried everything, but the signal is not coming. All channels, midi out settings. Other Moog synthesizers are being recorded. But Mariana is not. What could be the problem?
