This release will mark the iOS 1st Year Anniversary!!

Outer Space is a faithful emulation plugin of a famous vintage tape echo made in the early seventies.

As the original unit, Outer Space features a tape echo section with three playback heads and two spring reverb tanks.

We have modelled three different tape frequency responses and saturations, along with all the analog imperfections of tape recording/playback.

We have also modeled the ballistic response of the delay rate (repeat rate) which can create eerie pitch shifts (due to the Doppler effect), one of the classic tape echo-based sound effects.

Totally new v2 GUI rebuild, New zoom scaling and more for the iOS release.

the oversample button seems to be just on/off....

16x is not that heavy on a modern desktop at least with last vst version.we will see.*

edit: is the desktop 16x? or do i mix that with another developer?

With a heavy AUM session (about 70%) Outer Space adds about 11% DSP at 16X with a heavy delay patch

No way in hell they’re going to make their most anticipated plugin free on release day, that would be madness. I mean, I’ll happily be wrong about it, but I can’t see it happening, and I don’t think it should happen, either, tbh! Not even for one day.

I think the average forum member around here spends way more than the average bear and are the last people that need to be lectured on supporting developers.

You don’t have to agree with a suggestion but you don’t need to tell them off for it either. You’re not their parent! (He said sounding like someone’s parent )

And If you want a freebie for Xmas, Arturia’s new plugin for desktop is really nice. :-)

TLDR. We are the good guys as far as supporting audio developers on iOS goes. I bet we all have folders full of plugins we haven’t used yet too.

I didn’t ask for a freebie, it was more like a naive expectation because of the date and occasion. Thank you for the suggestions. 🫶

I'm pumped. Can't wait to buy.

I think personally id take a 20 - 50% general price raise for iOS apps pretty gracefully IF it meant better revenue for developers (which it might not honestly). It would mean slightly more considered purchases for me instead of instabuy fever.
Also, if it's free I will take it. (And tip if I use it)

@Luxthor i don't think anyone who reads this forum regularly could honestly think of you as not grateful for the developers or wanting this music ecosystem to succeed.

If anything you reminded me of when Moog put Model D and Model 15 for free on Bob Moog’s birthday. They were my first iOS apps and I couldn’t believe I got both for free 😂
