You can pick up SampleTank Max v2 directly from IK for €49 or €34.99 (plus tax if applicable) if you have some jam points (which you can get for free by downloading certain demos, creating an acct etc) at the moment which is a much better deal than the humble bundle top tier, not least because you can get better upgrade deals if you own anything Max. It’s a metric ton more content.

Although from my experience that might be a bad thing as installing it is an awful experience. It will install some of the content in all the wrong folders and that will in turn make ST4 crash. You’ll then have to manually find the stuff that’s in the wrong place and put it where it should be. Once you’ve spent countless hours doing that, the content may or may not be useless to you. I couldn’t find much that was anything other than mediocre to be honest. My taste most certainly does not jibe with IKs middle of the road Tediocracy.
I have a pretty huge chunk of the Sampletank library. I currently have 0% of it installed and that is the way it will stay as ST4 is an unstable buggy mess and the sounds, in general, bore me senseless and take ages to load. Then it crashes. Which would be even more annoying if the sounds weren’t so lacking in character.
Your mileage might, as they say, vary.
Judging by the sale prices IK are also probably close to releasing ST5 and the upgrade path may leave you disappointed. They do this every time they release a new version of something and having everything in the humble bundle will probably not get you anything in the way of an upgrade path judging by their past actions.
Mind you, you can find out if I’m talking nonsense for just 76p — don’t say I didn’t warn you when you start tearing hair out mid install

I had a license for it some years ago but uninstalled it as it would crash every time I used it. Went back to try it again after someone was talking up one of its EPs but when I went to install it IK wanted me to pay to access the installation files again. That left a bad taste in my mouth and haven’t felt any interest in trying again after being nickel and dimed by them like that.
Thankfully they have dropped that requirement now.

I had to use desktop browser as it wouldn’t add to my basket on the phone, use to that link, and then use the coupon code from klown on the payment page…
It only works on a specific product page. If you search for the plugin and add that to the cart the code won’t work.
