Oh that’s most welcome news. Thanks Cem!
I just picked this up today and I’m trying it out in Cubasis. Seems I have to have two tracks. One for the regular drum beat and one for the fill. I don’t think I’m doing this correctly but it is working. ??
Edit: I’m using Gladstone AUV3 from Gadget for drums.
Edit 2: Seems to work as intended in Zenbeats.
The new version is live!
Been loving this app together with klevgrand slammer. Great fun!
@cem_olcay i have two question:
1. Would you please consider adding a 1/4, 1/4 triple rate for us slowpokes? :P also 1/32 triple would be really nice.
2. Would you consider adding a default mapping for klevgrand percussion apps? If needed i can give you the information.
Anyway, congratulations on what is already a stellar app! I hope it get’s the attention (and sales) it deserves!
P.s. if helpful i can join the beta. I’m an active and communicative tester
Thank you, Cem.
Is there any workaround how to preserve/freeze fill that I like? If I close a project with Auto Fills in Loopy Pro, open another project and then go back to the previous, the fill will be regenerated. It behaves the same way when you close and reopen whole Loopy Pro.
About mapping, another thing that I personally would find very useful would be the ability to tap in note values directly using keyboard. Because the range is wide, it can be very fiddly to dial the values in by adjusting the slider. Actually, a text entry field where you could just type in all midi note values in a line like 40 41 45.... Etc... Or like C D D# etc, just a space between each value, would be wonderful.
I'm intrigued by this idea...any examples?
Yes - I put up an example on Twitter the other day Lasselu:

@cem_olcay thanks for the great update. This is a wonderful app.
Would it be possible to add a one-shot trigger parameter to the AU parameters?
I would suggest the following: Trigger low (CC value 0) = no fills. Short trigger pulse = immediately trigger a fill.
Held trigger = Create repeated fills as configured.
I’m thinking about a configuration (maybe in conjunction with a kind of cue option in brain bud), where it’s possible to have a fill that is then followed by a key / pattern change of other (bud) apps.
Drum roll - Ta Da !
Probably I can ignore the internal sequencer when a node out is routed to a MIDI Fx
Klevgrad template added on the new version v1.1. It’s the same template for their all drum synths.
Yes, I’ll work on the manual trigger next.
I wasn’t aware of that, thanks for the report! I’ll fix it on the next update.
Thank you for the update. Love the random button.
Works in Cubasis after update. Thank you @cem_olcay !
Ah, thank you...bought it...
Hey @Gavinski , are there any more clips of you using this for melodic purposes? I'm not remotely interested in making beats/drums, but I like the idea of using apps like this in creative ways..
Now works as expected in Cubasis. Thank you @cem_olcay
Can you test with Hammerhead in Cubasis, I believe there’s a “bug” in Hammerhead
In what way would you like me to test. Hammerhead as the midi generator or as the sound generator? And what is the bug you encounter ?
@cem_olcay Drum fills usually finish with a cymbal on beat one of bar one. Would it be possible and would you consider adding that functionality ?
+1
That would be a nice addition.
No, but it is defintiely useful for keyboard fills. The only problem is that dialing in the notes is currently a bit of a pain, hence the addition of scale options would be useful and / or ability to type in note values directly, preferably with an option to do it either using midi note numbers like 44 or note names like F#
I guess you could follow it with something like Scale Bud or Rozeta Scaler.
I did an experiment with Auto Fills tonight. I put two of them in a row in Cubasis Midi Effects and it works.
The first one plays a small fill 1 beats (1/4 bar) after 15 beats (3 bars and 3/4 ) then wait 16 beats (4 bars) . So it plays at the en of the bar 4 ,12 , 20 , 28 ….
The second one plays a longer fill of 2 Beats (1/2 beat) at after bar 30 (7 bar an 3/4). It plays at the end of the bar 8, 16, , 32 , 64 …
Ok cool, thanks for that input Gav. I usually snap up Cem’s apps without hesitation because they’re just so damn good! I’m not saying this one isn’t good - I’m sure it is - just not sure it suits my needs right now.
Well my experiment was a failed one. When I put my headphone on I could hear that the beat was doubled when both Auto fills were on. Too Bad.
I have another suggestion. The patterns change are currently triggered by CC#10 as I understand it. Would it be possible to have a mode that once used it goes to the next pattern until it reach the end patterns it would go back to the first.
I am having so much fun with this app. Thank you Cem.
Yes, you can use PatternBud for sequencing the patterns.

@cem_olcay Thanks for the update. Regarding the klevgrand template:
most of their drum apps start at the bottom row (so the row starting with note c) and then work their way up (the top row ending with note b). It seems your temlate starts wroking from the top row (starting with g#) and then work your way down. It would be really cool if this could be switched to reflect the way their apps work.
Also, the first track is named g# but actually plays note G instead.
Right, I'll release a new version with the fix. Thanks for the report!
BTW, the new beta version has the manual trigger function, did anyone check it out? It's not quantized though, the fill starts playing immediately when it receives the trigger.
@cem_olcay Tnx for the update. I’m not in the beta but i am using auto fills extensively in EG Nodes so if you need another tester let me know!
