  • Hello, I would like to launch fills for example every 2 bars only for kick and snare. That the midi conf blocks these two but not the others (only the two selected in the kit).
    Is this possible?

    Thanks in advance :-)

Yes you can do it in two ways,

    • Create a kit with just 2 parts, then assign their MIDI notes for kick and snare.
    • Or set everything’s percentage to 0% except kick and snare.

Well, this gave me the idea of including the faders as AU params as well. So, I include them in a new "Faders" group. I also add the mode selection as AU param as well. So basically you can control everything now! Update will be live soon.

  • Is this app compatible with Logic Mac?
I’d like to use it on iPad and Mac

Amazing.my beat step pro on controller mode will love that ..btw I am not sure if I am missing something but is the pattern system working as expected ?for example I have made a pattern on pattern 1 and then make another pattern on pattern 2 with different prefs ,after that switching between these 2 patterns has no impact ,visually i can see that the faders values are update on each pattern but I can hear no difference at all between these patterns .great and very fun app though.

    Superb app !

The possibilty to have a global velocity Line /time for a snare roll for exemple will be cool ! 😅

Yea, like a ratcheting probability option. That be real cool.

Yes a ratchet with probability simillar to PolyBud to add more subdivisions on the fill would be dope cause after a while it can be boring if the fills are using the same subdivision all the time .

  • I had no idea there was something specific for auto fills generation. This is something I have been lookin for specifically. Awesome work.

  • This app is fantastic. I literally was saying to myself Octachron is awesome but I wish there was a way to add fills. And then i saw this, put them together and its like they were made to go hand in hand.

My only feature request (ATM) Cem is if you can allow for mapped hardware/kits to be saved as our own templates so we dont have to set up the kit each time

Other than that, there’s finally an auto generating MIDI fill drum machine on macOS universal!!!

This is huge for non drummers like myself, man, this is cool

I want to map kit piece but I don’t knows what they are by sound or name. I have a general idea of kick, snare and tons,!but the metal stiff like cymbals hi hats and rides are hard to know how to write so this app is perfecf

Thing is how do you know whcih is whcih like clap is the one you choose compare to another that similar but not like open HH or close hhh.

So finally how do you save the template for the hardware in auto fills ?

    Nice work @cem_olcay

Just save it as an AU preset and then you can load it anytime.

Doesn’t work for me. I also don’t use it in a DAW (and I don’t hav or use aum). I’m using it standalone with Octachron.

Maybe future update you can add template saving ??

Anyone having trouble with 32 d notes? It seems to work sporadically for me... last night I was getting 16ths when I put the knob to 32ths

I just tested this on another iPad. The 32nd notes will play the first time I move the knob to choose them. After that, if I move the knob to 16ths and back, the app plays 16ths instead of 32nds.

@cem_olcay hi!is there something I’m missing? I press generate after choosing the 32nd notes but still hear 16ths on 2 iPads.

  • The new update is coming soon with the Manual Trigger Mode!

    • In the settings menu, activate the manual trigger mode.
    • Quantization option starts the fill on the grid.
    • You can trigger fills manually with either MIDI notes or MIDI CC messages.
    • Specify the MIDI trigger type, value, and channel for the manual trigger.
    • When the manual trigger mode is active, Auto Fills only work when it receives the trigger.

Nice. I hope you keep this app front and center man, it’s niche and specialized but much needed and I can’t believe it took so many years for someone to think of

Thanks, it's one of my fav apps as well! The manual trigger mode makes it even more interesting. You can sequence the triggers and create more wild stuff! The possibilities are endless.

Oooooo! this is great news! Choosing the different types of fills via midi is CLEVER.

  • Is there a way to drag and drop, save or recall fills that you want to keep? Sort of like some other random generators like piano motif and riffler

  • @cem_olcay off the swipe the app store till it updates... ;)

    Yes
    Settings -> Midi Export-> Export Pattern (x)

  • Great Update @cem_olcay with the ability to trigger the fills whenever you want it really opens up some great opportunities

Thanks. :) Do you know if that can be done on the fly as it is randomizing the fills?

For exporting a MIDI file, you have to do it manually on the settings menu after generating a new fill. If you want to change the patterns on the fly, you can change them with MIDI CC. You can also use a MIDI CC sequencer like PatternBud.
