    Is there a way to drag and drop, save or recall fills that you want to keep? Sort of like some other random generators like piano motif and riffler

    Yes
    Settings -> Midi Export-> Export Pattern (x)

    Thanks. :) Do you know if that can be done on the fly as it is randomizing the fills?

    For exporting a MIDI file, you have to do it manually on the settings menu after generating a new fill. If you want to change the patterns on the fly, you can change them with MIDI CC. You can also use a MIDI CC sequencer like PatternBud.

    What I was more interested in was the possibility to randomize, e.g. every 4 bars and be able to repeat a fill that I like. Beyond that I don't have any interest in randomization. I would use it to generate fills and the ones I like in place.

    You can trigger the “generate” AU parameter with a MIDI CC sequencer. For not losing a fill you like, just store it in its own pattern without the randomization option. You can also save it as AU user preset as well, other than exporting a MIDI file.

    Beautiful! @cem_olcay Have you given any thought to adding the ability to mix the different note time values? The ability to have 32nd notes along 16th would make the app capable of more varied and realistic fills. I could imagine having Musebud's ability to have probability for 1/4s, 1/16s, and 1/32s...having Musebud's tab instead of just choosing one at the bottom of the screen would be awesome. Just a thought, and thank you for your continued innovation!

  • A sick new update is coming soon for Auto Fills -- Ratchets!!

    • Set the ratchet probability for each drum part on the Ratchet mode.
    • Higher probabilities increase the ratchet count chance (up to 4 repeats).
    • Also, the new rate values 1/4, 1/4T, 1/2 and 1/2T added.

    Check the quick demo video!

  • The new update is live on the app store!

  • That fill example is awesome.

    Thanks, this update really made a huge difference. :smile:

  • Anyone else having issues with sync or Ableton? For me when I start my octachron and press play on the autofills it does a fill first bar right away.

    Does anyone know how to enable the autofill without engaging on step 1 bar 1?
