On the Digitone 1 you can hold Func+any of the bottom row of keys to enter bank A, bank B etc. does that still work?

Oh shit I’ve had this thing forever and never knew that! I’ll try it tonight to see! Thx

Hope this is possible on the DNII. As @reasOne says it's a real ball-ache having to scroll all the way through all the presets to get to Bank F or whatever....

  • Definitely interested in the Digitone 2 now that I’ve returned my OP-XY. Looks like the perfect compliment to the DT2 (no surprise).

Not a fan of the XY??

Question for DT2 owners. Has the sound pool improved at all?. I love my DT but sample management is imo the worst feature. It’s very time consuming to save sounds, there’s no automatic naming, etc…

yes, pretty much improved, you can save individual sounds or entire bank (sounds of all tracks in pattern), also auto naming (random name consisting from 2 words)..

Saving all sounds in a pattern sounds very handy indeed.
About “auto naming” the thing that frustrates me about the DT1 is that when saving a sample there should be an option or default to take the name from the sample (wav) file.

Just found your YouTube channel and video on this, I’ll check that out today

  • Huge fan of the XY, it’s just not stable and crashes all the time.

  • Ordered a Digitone 2. Looking forward to getting my hands on it!

You will NOT regret ! It's instant magic.

  • I regret buying it.
Persevering for now, and maybe I’ll grow to love it…

How can somebody regret buying DN2 .. it sounds SOOOO smooth ..

  • I think mk2 is a worthy continuation - more & better. Imo mk2 makes more sense for people who are lookingq for a lot of fun with a single box or if money is not an issue.
I’m personally looking for a companion to the rest of my Elektron boxes so very happy to see second hand market flooded with cheap mk1s.

I just tried, Obsidian can do this!
But only the sound. None of the hardware feeling ;)
