Just to add my appreciation for the continuing support, care and development @cem_olcay puts in his apps.
I just got myself a Novation Launchpad mini. This is a bud I would buy instantaneously:
Launch Bud - Use your Novation Launchpad (mini, x, pro) as master controller for your buds. A bit like brain bud getting LEDs…
There are probably not enough potential buyers, and I can imagine that switching the Launchpad between the different UI layouts via programming mode is difficult. Maybe more of a Mozaic project.

  • A live update of data changes would be awesome, now we have to press 'Done' to hear the difference. which make it slow and quite honest, a bit annoying when trying out various set up's. Maybe have the option to turn it on or off.

(I'm playing with the latest update in stand alone mode).

Yes, that's a good recommendation, I'll make a new update for this soon 👍

    Thanks @catherder 🙏
I did some hacking with Launchpad back in the day. Open sourced this:
    https://github.com/cemolcay/LaunchpadKit

But I never clicked with the Launchpad, so it ended up in my unused-gear-grave-drawer 🤷‍♂️

I'm going to release a new beta build with more 'experimental' sequencer rates:

    • 1/6
    • 1/10
    • 1/12
    • 1/18
    • 1/21
    • 1/24
And their dotted and triplet variations.

Depending on its success, I'll add it to the other sequencers as well. I'll need your feedback once the beta is published.

Also, let me know if you have any other interesting rate suggestions

    Cem.

Make it so tweaking is just like tweaking a knob rate. Even if the patterns sound different. Just make it so it appears like a tempo.

At the mo it seems like the rates are in the wrong order.

    I think.

That's great thank you, I don't think it works in all places though, e.g Rate is like before. Hopeful it becomes standard for all menus with some changes affecting sound.

Yes, the rate changes after you lift your finger up. It’s pretty much the standard on all buds. I did that change a few updates back.

I’m also going to update the new key/scale picker for the other buds as well. FuncBud has already adapted with today’s update!

Ah on the bottom bar, yes, I had not noticed that and it's a bit fiddely to hit the one you want there. I had opened the window for it scrolled through that wheel and there it's not, which was what I was referring to.

    That's great! 👍🏻

The new Keboard (the bonus keyboard plugin comes with Kebarp) has evolved into a super useful utility tool.

    • The new update adds Mono, Poly, MPE and MIDI CC modes.
    • In MPE mode, the horizontal movement on the key controls the pitch bend, and the vertical movements controls the CC74.
    • Strength of the pitchbend can be set with the pitch bend amount knob. (0% disables it)
    • When the latch mode is active, you can still change the xy-axis values. Just tap the key quickly for disengage it. This works for multiple keys. No other MPE controllers can do that as I know.
    • Mono mode is useful for playing Kebarp.
    • Poly mode can play multiple notes like the first version.
    • You can set the min/max CC boundaries in CC mode, useful for changing patterns or random modulations etc.

The beta is live, and the new version is coming soon.
