  • Thank you all for the kind words! We are urgently preparing an update that will fix some bugs. Hopefully, they haven't ruined anyone's live performance yet :)

Looks great but no way I'd pay £17.99 for it.

Less than the price of a pizza…

  • Has anyone tried using this in Ableton Live? I see it's M1 compatible, so it'd be great if it worked as a plug-in.

We haven't tested for stability under such usage scenarios yet

Where are you buying your pizza - Maxim's?

  • That's a lot of dough for a pizza 🍕

  • @Froggo_Lab - I noticed that user presets created in the standalone version are not available in the AUV3. Could this be fixed?

Hi! Thanks, we'll try to do something about it

    Hi, @Froggo_Lab, congrats for release!
Btw is it possible to upload a bunch of samples at once? I tried to upload a folder from files, then from iTunes but didn’t succeed.

Hello! Currently, you can only add one sample at a time, but in the future, we will make it possible to add an entire folder at once.

Thanks - I am really enjoying this app!

  • I’ve run into what I think is a bug, where samples won’t play in sync mode, the play button just flashes forever and never starts playback. I’ve had it happen where I’ve had them working but then stopped playback and they won’t restart, but also when I’ve saved a project in AUM. Particularly annoying as in one project all three samplers were set to sync, but two won’t work on reload, while one does.

Is this something not working correctly, or am I being stupid and have missed something?

    Noice (patiently waiting for update).

We're sorry. But we have already fixed this, build 1.0.2 is currently being checked by Apple, it should become available within a day, and you can upgrade

Yep 17.99 is a joke for that

Once a blue moon, someone says something so incredibly stupid that it needs to be quoted.

This app looks awesome and brilliant. Great job.

  • Hello everyone! New version available

    1.0.3
-Fixed crackling when changing reverb size
-Fixed bug with missing noteOff MIDI messages
-Fixed bug with MIDI catch takeover mode

  • @Froggo_Lab is it possible to add a beat/bar quantise to the sample timeline - so that when you are moving back and forward on the timeline you land with a more targeted landing as it were in order that rhythmical samples are all kept together. I’m not into the ambient stuff. I like the look of the app and I would buy it if this were possible, but this aspect would be a dealbreaker for me 🤔
Or is that already possible maybe?

Hey there! Samples can sync to BPM, and you can choose the quantize value by which samplers will be triggered in sync mode. But overall, the Async leans more towards loops suited for ambient and experimental music. So if you're looking to play tightly structured pieces, Async Sampler might be geared slightly differently.

Maybe use multiple instances of 4Pockets Neon? I think you can set regions or sections and trigger them via MIDI?

Not sure about this 100%, but it might be worth invetigating.

There are good videos showing all of Neon's many features in detail on 4Pockets YouTube channel.

    OK.

I remember seeing the Neon video when it came out and I thought it might do what he wanted... but I'm probably wrong. Just a shot in the dark...

  • Thanks folks - I’ll have a look at Neon. Hadn’t really given that one any attention in the past.

    That’s awesome 🤩 I hadn’t tried that yet!

LOVE Async’s interface. Everything just makes intuitive sense without unnecessary fluff.

Off to go try out Async’s region triggering. Thank you for this excellent app! :)
