Just imagining you holding that phone in the pool like this, sacrificing meditation and a healing bath for a few shots is amazing. ❤️

Thanks - but honestly there's not much skill, I just point the phone at stuff and XP4N does most of the work. 😅

  • Finally snapped it up.

    Very nice indeed!

  • I used to take black and white pictures with Ilford XP2 400 film. It could be developed normally in the cheap C-41 process (color film). This made it extremely affordable and the results were great!

I would buy such an app immediately. Or as an IAP ;-)

  • Enjoying the app lots, but these pix are making me want to get a better iPhone. (Mine is a first-gen SE/6S.)

They're making me want to get a better life.

(j.k. I already have a fantastic life if I would only get out more.)

  • Here is my experimentation with B&W mode, it’s not my field of interest. Although half of my top favorite photographers are B&W only.

Yeah it’s a real shame that I can’t get this app on my iPhone 6 *. Would be snapping pics all day!
I don’t carry my iPad around with me generally ,so limited use for me. Still really enjoying it though!

    • which also means the very cool Ko-Tanzaku feature doesn’t work either. Such a shame

Understood. Unfortunately it uses quite a few API features that really require the newer hardware. I reckon it has to do with hardware requirements for offloading accelerated image manipulations to the GPU.

The cutoff point coincides with Apple moving over to their own integrated SoC designs instead of generic ARM chips in the iPhones and iPads - so it seems this minimum requirement is less arbitrary than usual with Apple 😉

I like these. Especially the third one...

That one would also look great as a square Hasselblad Medium Format 6x6 style photo, with lots of empty sky above the subject.

Don’t tease me, John! ;) You know I never had proper dark room, my maximum production reach was APS-C, and Photoshop+InkJet, haha.
I’m glad you like it. Ty!

I said 'style' lol! You don't need an actual Hasselblad, That would be optional. But you do get you extra Brownie points for using a real one.

Basically, just a nice square photo that looks like HP5+ film. Tri-X would also be suitable ;-)

    I'd have loved a real Hasselblad 500CM.
