I’ve been having a blast testing it but i was Like dang There’s gotta be a chat haha
I’ve deleted the invitation email & I can’t see how to find it on the Discord page. He has enlisted a stand in chap to take care of business whilst his internet is out of commission - I’ll tag him on the forum and ask him to sort you out.
I just read the post again - the stand in bloke was only reporting about his welfare. I have left a request to have you included - I’m hoping it won’t be too long before he is back online. I’m there in my other guise as BingoBongo…. I had a problem with Google Passwords at one time and had to come up with a name to get it sorted…. that was the first thing I thought of 😅
Thanks brotha!
Haha i use the same two screen names for everything now cuz I’m too old and weed brained to remember anything 🤣
Do you know if you can change the rate per “scene” instead of it being locked into to the master for each pattern? That’s really my main feature request besides being able to cue patterns to play once the previous one runs to the end. Changing the pattern on time isn’t easy
Both patterns and slice patterns have playlists that let you add them in any order you like, rearrange them, delete them, and play them, also let you change the play index while playing for remixing. I am not sure what you mean rate per scene, rate per pattern? I am not tracking on rate per scene but let’s discuss it privately.
I am working on putting the final touches on GlitchStep to get RC1 to the beta testers. In the meantime, here is a downtempo glitch track that I setup in it, and tweaked while it was running.
See, that’s wassup man. Multiple GlitchSteps and multiple GlitchCore’s.
There’s only a handful of brokebeat/glitch plugins that I consider professional on iOS, and @amatheu made 3 of them.
It’s a dope app, one that I continue to use in my AUM default.
While we wait for Apple to review Glitchstep, I thought you might want to check out a little improvisation. My goal was to create a nice little bass line, that could turn into a song and was dynamic, improvising with just a few patterns.
Couldn’t Drambo do this?
If so that would be awesome, but not sure. For me I use a beatstep to do it for me.
Anything happening with this? Still in review? @amatheu
It is waiting for review, I had to go back and forth a few times because it is an auv3. It is the typical process, this one took just a little longer as I found an issue during that and had to resubmit. It has been waiting for review now for a couple of days, I expect it should go in review today if it gets approved the release will be tomorrow.
I am now working on a video tutorial series to accompany the user guide. I am hoping to finish them tomorrow. The idea being bite sized videos for all the sections of the guide, and some more advanced ones with tips and techniques at the end.
When this app comes out I totally recommend EVERYBODY get it. Love it @amatheu
Looking forward to it!
I would do the sensible thing and wait just a little while to see the demos.
meh strokes and folks -- suits my many use cases ( not just glitching ), the ui is wonderful, hasn't bombed on me once, and its fun. ( on the beta test )
Apple approved GlitchStep, the official release date is Tuesday October 29th, 2024
It is live in the US Appstore for me

Here is a link to the GlitchStep Tutorial Series playlist
Congratulations I’m excited
Thank you!
Also I wanted to let everyone know just after release I discovered an issue, and sent a bugfix for it to Apple, which is waiting for review. There is a simple workaround for it. I put it at the top of the user guide for now while it is waiting for review.

Here's my 30-min walkthrough and review:
Congratulations on the release @amatheu (and beta testers too), just picked it this up and am enjoying it lots already, it feels quite complete as well. Lovely UI too, kudos!
Congratulations @amatheu. Any chance of a hint as to how long the intro offer will be on for? Cheers.
Congratulations, @amatheu - I haven't tried it yet but I've bought it and seen the videos. Really well made in terms of UI, features and immediacy. The videos are also excellent, short, focused and to the point.
I’ve tried it quickly on my LPF 4 Track Challenge entry in Logic. It needed reloading a few times, but it has only just come out, so sure it will become stable in time
O, and Logic refuses to freeze a track that it is on.
Congratulations @amatheu - I just started playing with it and it’s a great sequencer. Is there a way to reduce the sensitivity for the knobs (longer slide needed to fully turn a knob)? Personally I find it difficult to just change to the next note - even with octave range set to 1.
Or would it be possible to lower the sensitivity the more distant the finger gets from the knob, some apps handle knobs that way?
Or what the full price is aiming to be?
Cheers on release, looks great!
