My names Matt and I’m a tattoo artist and portrait artist - here’s a couple of mine

And here’s a recent portrait painting
Welcome on board. Very nice work.
Driving home close to midnight while getting into some good, unheard, dub-techno and as I merged onto the freeway I began driving into the setting crescent moon. It was one of them magical moments. It inspired this small phone finger creation with SketchClub.
That rose is exquisite @Dav . If i were a deer, I’d try eating it.
Welcome @Obbdat . I see that some of us are playing checkers, while others are playing chess. Inspiring. That is a really nice sleeve and work on the other human canvass.
Nice mix (it is a photo you painted on, right?)
I'm afraid I'm the one responsible for that rose, not Dav. Thank you though.
If you're a dear or deer: you can eat it as it's safe for children from an early age.😆
@Obbdat That's absolutely brilliant and lovely work. 😃 Welcome mate.
@Blipsford_Baubie What really excellent work! I
love this, mate. ☺️
Oof! Apologies for the mix up @Pxlhg.
No photos were used for the above.
It was you who actually led me to that road 🙂. I was inspired by your wall painting using the sgraffito technique. I’m sure that working with real mediums is much more satisfying for this technique, but I couldn’t help to wonder how i would apply that technique digitally. This curiosity has allowed me to finally get the hang of playing with layers in the digital realm, which is something I used to avoid like the plague.
Thank you! Forgot to mention i just looked up Plastictine. I thought it was a painting medium!(your common clued me in about eating it 😉) Either way, very, very, impressive detail)
I really like this one @jwmmakerofmusic !!
Your comment made very happy, so nice that I can inspire to something. ☺️🙂
@Blipsford_Baubie Thank you so kindly mate.
Also really cool that @Pxlhg inspired you with his amazing art!
@Obbdat, You have blown my mind with your painting. Stunning, stunning work!
@StudioSisu If you've any visual art to share, no matter what it is/no matter skill level or not, don't hesitate to post it. 😊 I wanna see. This thread is a celebration of everything visually artistic.
Photoshop came on the scene and I fell hard for creating digital mixed-media art portraits and collages, like this one. It’s my thing, and I’m absolutely addicted.
What do you think?
I think it's beautiful! Omg, that's so cool! ❤️ Photoshop really is an OG in the digital art and collage world. Can't wait to see more.
I use mostly Sketchclub and iPastels for my works. Just finished this as stress relief.
Here’s a little sunset beach scene because I wish I was at Sunset Beach, NC today instead of working…
What are you doing relaxing at the beach? (Just kidding)
Cool looking sunset. 👍
That's absolutely beautiful work!
An excellent way to relax if I do say so myself.
@jwmmakerofmusic: Very soothing indeed! I can imagine a huge print of this on my studio wall, to keep me centered and calm as I work!
@Dav,
Well done! I love the texture and the vibrancy. It really does evoke a sunset beach, one of my favorite places!
@StudioSisu Thank you so much. ❤️ That means a lot to me.
Thank you @NeuM, @jwmmakerofmusic and @StudioSisu!
Okay, Art Rage Vitae is definitely the best trad art simulation app on iPhone. Mimicked the paint tube/palette knife workflow flawlessly. 😨
My pleasure. Now, post more please. 😅
I love the sunset beach @Dav . I’m fortunate to have seen a lot of them during my earlier years. So nice yours.
Speaking of Photoshop: This is the artwork I did for Lars Boquist and The 1712s. Lars is a childhood friend and we reconnected after nearly 40years. Now I've done several of his covers (not Water and Larser than..). The absolute greatest of fun (and also a lot of pressure)
Here the song on Spotify: Rest of 4ever. I've really tried to advise NOT using names like that, but to no avail, obviously. 😂
If you're up for it: see how many 70s band you can spot, on the floor and on the walls (I don't know myself and I placed them there, ha ha)
The band themself is on the easel.
@Pxlhg That's really amazing album art! ☺️ It's so detailed. How long would you estimate it took you to go from start to finish?
That looks very professional. Good work!
Thank you so much! It's impossible to estimate as it's not started from scratch for this cover. The idea of a room floating in space I did in watercolour a long time ago, here it is on the easel (I have the original as jpg (not the artwork) somewhere)

The impossible cat in window repetition (stolen from Rene Magrittes: man in mirror(edit: it's actual name is: "Not to be reproduced"😬)) was an oil painting I did in the 80s but here it was a separate digital work I think I started in Illustrator. I have that too somewhere but can't find anything right now.
Putting it all together, fishing for the various cover album art (floor) and posters on the wall. 20-30 hours maybe. But, if you include all ideas and various work done before this, well then it is a lot more.
Thank you! I guess it must be, I did get payed after all. Not a fortune, but still.. 😃
