Funny little bug…
If you add a mixer from the Tags view, you don’t get the usual Mixer. You get what appears to be a module for the upcoming visual synthesis update (the outputs are RBG).
The usual audio Mixer is still under Structure in the default view, and if you search you only get the audio and MIDI mixers.
Funny. I never really use the tags view, actually you reminded me it existed. But that’s something from the upcoming visuals, for sure. I haven’t seen that on the beta either
You guys haven’t even found the speech synth module. Granted it’s under an IAP but totally worth it. Great to work with the vocoder
here’s my very first attempt
Also there’s a really sweet limiter in this version
And a pitch (grain) shifter that just brings me back to classic 90’s jungle
There is a whole new “Visual” folder inside Drambos presets folder. It contains a whole bunch of presets folders with presets for visual modules.
Looks to me like a leak from Drambos future…
I agree, I was missing a simple and effective limiter module. No more red on the master!
Nice! You beat me to it lol
Low hanging fruit, but really the speech synth plus vocoder is so much fun
Thank you for this - amazing how quickly, with a little help, you can go from feeling really stupid into feeling like a midi genius - though i was admittedly stuck on the stupid bit for quite a while
Will this work on the Launchkey mini MK4 37?
No, each device has it’s own device name and mapping.
All of these creators have Drambo playlists. I think I have watched all of Leo’s and Ben’s videos and every so often go back and rewatch some of the videos if I’m having any problems.
Leo’s videos are more about the different modules and interesting ways to use them.
Ben has a bunch of amazing video tutorials about the custom effect and instrument modules that he has created.
Once you get into Drambo you will probably end up watching all of their Drambo videos anyways. Leo has some great introduction videos.
We got plaits! (even though its called plaid in the description for some reason)
I don't wanna sound greedy, but it would be great if we also could get Clouds (with all the other modes)
Because then I don't have to be afraid of loosing Spectrum effects, when I want to update my iOS
I hope this is just the first of the ports, basically opening the floodgates
oh, pleez
too much
At last: the ultimate complication! It's about time. Or is it?
I'm looking forward to some new Drambo modules for designing clock faces.
I’m AUM since day1, I bought Drambo on release, but have only opened it a few times. There is so much to learn from scratch that it puts me off exploring. I’d love Apple to allow AUv3 inside another AUv3. I think I could integrate AUM and Drambo easier that way.
How are all the other AUM experts integrating Drambo ?? Thanks
I use Drambo a few different ways.
1. I use it Stand Alone to host auv3s
2. Inside AUM, I use Drambo as an auv3 to sequence all the synths and instruments that AUM is hosting
3. Crazy mode, I will host Drambo auv3 in Drambo for some wild mental gymnastics:)
Option 3 didn’t crossed my mind, I am still fresh to Drambo but that is interesting!
I have some Drambo presets for sequencing drum machines. For instance, an 8-track sequencer with each track on a separate MIDI channel for Battalion. Way better than trying to sequence it with the Piano Roll or across multiple tracks.
There's not that much to learn if you use Drambo in simple ways. For instance, as just a midi sequencer, or a drum machine. There are included project templates and instrument models that you can just open and use.
Yeah don’t try to learn it. Just start using it for something simple , and as you go along you’ll pick new things up.
Drambo is as easy or as complicated as one wants to make it
I like Drambo but when I buy an IAP because I'm interested in a specific module I actually expect something more than this...
