definitely better updating, unfortunately we're not out of the woods yet.
but you can have complete confidence in making a pattern, and before you copy that pattern anywhere, copy it to Audioshare, do that and you have not lost it.

Really nice to finally have midi transport and sync...however...anyone else noticed some serious latency issues when syncing to external clock? Just spent a fair amount of time looking into this. I'm sending midi from my Octatrack (which is known for having rock solid timing), and ED is coming in anywhere from a few hundred milliseconds to a half step or more off. Did some comparisons just programming a simple 4/4 kick drum internally on the Octatrack against my Kawai XD-5 and Boom 909 (for the sake of ruling out any other weirdness), and Elastic Drums was glaringly off compared to anything else.

• couldn't work out how to apply velocity. I can see some presets use it. But I could make any of my fresh hits dial the velocity up and down. A help icon came up for this first time I hit the velocity button but then disappeared before I had a chance to read it (before I hit OK on the help dialog).

Hi just a quick respond to that, looks like a lot of people don't know that: After hitting velocity hit another knob, volume or pitch maybe, this is the source getting modulated then by velocity.
Also have a look at the Elastic Drums Facebook site, there are a lot of "tips", lots of tutorial video's and there is a Manual now since version 1.1 (file > options > manual)

1.1 was already on it's way to Apple, when I got aware of it. Update to 1.2, it should be fixed

Please have a look at the manual ;-) Instrument only changes when you are in pattern 1, NOT when you are in other patterns. This is to create more 'comparable'/musical random creations in a preset. I can also change this behavior, but I thought it might be a good idea.

as far as I know all of my test have been in pattern one but I will double confirm this and report back, thanks for being so responsive, I'm enjoying this app so much

Just to ask again, has anyone noticed any latency issues with the midi sync? It would help to rule out if it's just something on my side or an issue that needs attending to.

Same here, THANKS, plus will you put Solo/Mute on same page? (Before there was Solo, now there is Mute.)

Also can you stop the pop up info? If one reads the manual it's obvious..

And please can you make the pads Volume sensitive, = adjust Vol. drag up/down?
The sensitivity button is best for % play...

I noticed another strange thing this morning...I had saved several new patterns during the last week, but today when I played through them, on the mixer screen, the tempo had changed from 128bpm to 99bpm and the 'tempo x' had changed from 1 to 0.75 . Strange...

Never noticed this, hm ...
Could you try to narrow down, when exactly, under which conditions this happens, that makes it more easy for me to get an idea, why it could happen.
