existing Auria users will also be able to upgrade to Auria Pro for a reduced price

Interesting. Any bets? I think a FAD sweepstake might be in order....

And may any available God have put their fingers on the piano roll editor...

Looks like they took some design inspiration from the IMS-20 :)

    Fantastic news!

A nice antidote to the recent Camel Audio debacle.

(Though it would have been amusing to see Alchemy announced as Auria Pro's built-in synth)

  • That Fabfilter synth is pretty awesome. If you get the chance, try it out on the desktop. It's pretty massive getting it for free w/ Auria, or is it one of the first VSTi's -> Auria native plugins that'll be available as IAP?

  • Yes, it looks gorgeous and $50 is 'relatively' cheap for such a fully-fledged system. Interesting question regarding existing IAP's though will they transfer to Auria Pro?

  • Will it run on ipad4

  • Didn't you guys hear that Camel got the hump?

  • Awesome! Looking forward to this.

  • Amazing!!!!!!!

  • Im curious what cubasis will be like?

  • looks cool but i'm not sure it's better than cubasis

    For you, maybe not.

Like Auria, just not as good though. Kinda like it's always been. :)

  • BOOM HEADSHOT

  • Wonder if the IAP plug-ins will transfer?

They better, that would be a real PR SNAFU.

  • I wonder if iOS7 will still be supported?

  • I would assume that the Pro version will be a IAP in the current app, as well as a separate new app for new users.

  • This could be good, im going to wait for the initial bugs to get exposed. Actually Auria "non-pro" is working beautifully.

  • Amazing news,i hope it REALLY means spring 2015 ;-)

  • Hmmm ... I wonder how good the audio to midi will be.

    yeah, as in; march 21st.

  • Loving those screenshots ...

The first "non-pro" got me to jump ipad1 - to 4...I spoze this'll do the same to (air 3, next Xmas) though maybe midi and warping functionality won't mean a huge jump in cpu pull.

  • Every Savior is good looking when rumor of his arrival reaches the village but he (and the donkey he's riding in on) has yet to arrive. And make no mistake I'm just like the other cult-members :) However, I do also think this will make a few other folks look to their own particular laurels. Should up the game. Hope so.

  • This is going to be fantastic. The 6 auxes definitely is a great addition. Midi will be great I'm sure, but more flexible routing was #1 on my wish list and it looks like that is in it.

As for IAP's, since there's an upgrade path for existing users it will come from auria itself in the form of an IAP I'd imagine, much like the upgrade from LE to the full version. The App Store doesn't allow another way to upgrade unless we pay full price and rim refunds part of it...based on his statement regarding the camel situation, he's not looking to make anybody buy hundreds of dollars in plugins again.

I could be wrong, but I don't think I am in this case. This looks to be well worth the wait though.

  • Well heck, so much for me buying Cubasis now. This upgrade and the iConnect Audio and I think I'm done if all works as I hope.
