  • I started out hating this thread, it irritated me to be teased about something I've been waiting for. Auria and the possibility of a Beepstreet monosynth has been on my radar all summer, and still nothing...(actual moping, here)

    Hilarious! This has been the best summer for music since, like ever, for me anyway. Hopefully for y'all.

  • Gadget is great but has some limitations, not having per track eq and compression being the primary issues (IMO). Because there's no consistency of effects across the gadgets you can't use eq or compression (or delay) on every gadget. So exporting stems to Auria for mastering seems a good choice. Of course, when Auria Pro arrives (perhaps) everything can be done there - time will tell.

    @touchconspiracy

    Auria works just beautifully on the touch screen (as does Gadget). I think you can drop that whole "issue". :)

  • Since when is expressing opinions trolling?

    My intentions are good, I just really hope that wave machine delivers the goods considering the hype..I'd hate to be them if many of you end up dissapointed with the final build..cause it's an expensive app

    Now you're trolling us, touchconpiracy! :-b

    It's all good, I see your good intentions. but the thread title has me all excited every time I see " Auria Pro!!!!!!!!!!!!! " at the top of the forum.

    It's gonna be great when it does arrive.

  • It's an opinion based on my own feelings from using Auria , not an issue per se

    The only thing I'm prepared to "drop "is bass to be honest mate..lol

    Lol, ayes to that!

  • No hard feelings @touchconspiracy. You posted good points about Gadget. The "trolling" comment was just because you put up a string of posts on this "Auria Pro!!!!!!!!!! "announcement Thread mostly talking about how great Gadget works so I thought maybe you were poking fun with us, lol.

    If you're like me and use a lot of layers you need eq for frequency masking. I don't generally use compression (i use a return for NY compression) until the mixdown apart from sidechaining which Gadget also lacks so i can't really use for the way i work and that's where an like Auria is needed.

  • What have I done wrong guys, I upgraded to Auria pro but I see no upgrade even though it was successful. Does pro not download automatically after upgrade?
  • mazwezwe, I see you double-posted - I'll repeat the same info I wrote in the other thread, in case others are interested:

    As soon as you purchase the upgrade to Auria Pro, your version "becomes" Auria Pro.  But there's a bug that prevents the new demo song from loading, and the new synths from showing on certain upgrades.  To fix this, just delete Auria from your iPad, then reinstall it from the app store (remember to choose Auria, not Auria Pro in the app store).  Then once Auria is reinstalled, go to the built-in store and press the Restore Purchases button.  Now you'll have the new demo song and all your synths will be working properly.

    Make sure to back up all your projects before doing this!
