P.P.S, For anyone genuinely interested, I will be getting back in touch with the developer of ReTune and I'll keep you posted.
I was one of the customers that did not get the plugin free with Auria.

Ah the Tascam 688! I lusted after that machine for years before I finally got one. It was incredible what you could do with it. Quite a heavy beast, though. The user manual was massive, too.
Anyway, I own a copy of Reason and FL Studio. Been using them for years..
Then started using my iPhone, NanoStudio then Beatmaker2 etc... Last year bought my iPad mini with Retina. Wow.
Anytime I go and use my laptop Daws its sounds the business, but the accessibility and speed, (for me) can not compare to the touch screen.
So hearing the news about Auria Pro, is gearing my mind for a true Daw/MIDI experience, on iOS.
I hear people always talking about the best equivalent to a Daw on iOS. However the way I see it, is that my IPad is the Daw/door and the apps are the plugins as it were.
There is a saying I've always had... "It's not what you got, it's how you use it".
The iOS musicians department has come a long way in a relatively short period.
Full top quality Tracks can be achieved with an iPhone 4 etc, if you know what your doing...
Music: Some lean it, Some blessed with it. (And the two can sound good).
Auria Pro sounds to be the best so far. I use Auria a little, but 'Pro' will be used!!!
I'm coming from the days of Atari using Creator/Notator, (which is now Logic). And have always had my music making equipment/tools, with all the developments.
The word/abbreviation 'Pro' is the big claim/deal.
GREEEEEEEAAAAAAAAT!!!
Excited because I choose to be! :-)

@shortbus: Yes, Auria Pro will work in a similar way in regards to warping. After a global tempo change, you just need an extra step to requantize any audio tracks, but the end result is the same.

bI'm still hoping to be able to slide an imported Video along the timeline. Having to go to Menu - Settings - video - type in HH:MM:SS:mm for the offset then go back to playback and see if I got it right is a pain. Rim, last time I asked you seemed not to understand what I was talking about. Got a better idea now? Maybe even implemented it? Slide left/right just like an audio (or MIDI now) section? Thanks!
Not one of you wish you could name a track from the wave screen? Seriously finding that hard to believe. You guys are leaving me hanging out there...
@boone51 Game theory. We're figuring if Rim sees there isn't too much traction for an extra naming thingie he might feel that while he isn't doing that maybe he should, you know, alphabetize the plugin/iaa list or make the mixer/arrange buttons a single wide toggle. Dog eat dog, baby. There's no loyalty in this man's army once you get out onto the field of play...
I'm acutely aware of this... Still, you can't tell me you haven't tried to rename a track by clicking that number...
That's not dog eat dog. That's more like dog smell dog breath.
@JohnnyGoodyear yep, Auria forum.
Snake type micro game while you wait is a brilliant idea.
@boone51 it's true. I have tried to rename in the arrange view and it would be a welcome addition but it's lower priority for me personally. Thing is, I don't rename that often whereas I switch between mixer and arrange once a minute. Thinking about what to hit adds up!
I don't expect it to change but I'd also prefer a double wide play/stop toggle in the top right, moving the counter menu left. Same reason: I access that menu about a 40th the amount of times as I hit play and stop. Aiming for those two buttons instead of lizard brain caveman style "bash top right" seems a waste of brain meat right when you're trying to be in the proverbial zone. Desktop DAWs all settled on the giant spacebar for start/stop because we use it so often. You don't think about it and you don't aim for it.
The haphazard lists are similar for me. These are things that make you stop thinking about the song and start thinking about Auria.
No doubt, minor things. Auria is stellar and considering all it offers I can't believe how well it manages to get out of its own way.
@Syrupcore +1, I mentioned this on a Auria wishlist, on their forum about a year ago. Switching pages/screens can be like a sudden jolt in the space-time-continuum. Hehe
@boone51 +1, And it would also be nice, to be able to re-arrange the track order, from, the mixer page...

Since i'm not so up to date with iOS i just saw this yet. Since i try to get the best from booth worlds (iOS and OS X) and i own Auria i might be update to the pro version. The problem is the high cpu spikes which seems to even worse with iPad Air 2 when scrolling. But since my Macbook Pro retina seems to suffer from a similar apple bug (very high cpu spikes due to GUi's from plugins etc.) and made it similar worse to use i'm not sure what developers can do. Seem that Apple must do something here.
However, Auria pro sounds good so far.
Hi there, i just stumbled over a short video report of Auria Pro@ NAMM 2015
Also found out that the same video was already posted on the Auria forum... and while editing this, @Egz posted a new thread containing the embeded video on the AB forum... ( Note to self: learn to type faster )

Aces summation, and the hallmark of a great UX. I never even think about the venue, just the good time I'm having inside.

I had already acknowledged I misread your post. Your initial joke wasn't funny, and your multiple rebuttals are obnoxious.
I actually use both Auria and Cubasis, for each have their strengths and weaknesses. I do get tired (and confused sometimes) when I bounce around between DAW apps. With this Auria Pro upping the game, I have a feeling that Cubasis will fall by the wayside. Most of the Auria EFX plugins are top notch and sadly Cubasis EFX...are not.
However, I like Cubasis, it is especially stable on the iPad mini2 and does something that I am not sure any other iOS app can do (until Auria Pro comes that is)...send (and record) MIDI out and record the resulting audio at the same time (via IAA). I don't have N-track, maybe it has that capability, anyone know?
I am wondering what Steinberg may do next; indeed Auria is raising the bar pretty high. This should be good for us all.
Pretty sure beatmaker can do the send MIDI/record audio trick.
Multiple synth instances I hope.
Not like Cubasis.
@CalCutta. Do you have a problem with me? Do you know me?
No! So stop going over the thing and move on!!!
What a welcome you have given me/us on this forum. Wow :-)
I'm liking the new GUi colors peeps. :-)
So excited...

When was this supposed to be out again?! ;-)
Last spring
Apparently it's all done bar the sampler, but it's looking like it will drop at least six months late.
You just had to bump this thread and fake me out didn't you.
@johnfromberkeley you are now offficially on my thread bumping shit list.
Official Thread Bumping Shit List???....... More Toilet paper anyone?.........
JG goes off to the far hill with his Lash of Disappointment. Again.
That's just wrong. But patience will be rewarded with Auria pro, I'm sure of it. I'd rather it be finished and work correctly than released and unstable.
Gaaaah!
Guess a good rule of thumb might be, if you see this thread partway down the page with only a few new comments, it is not out yet and we still don't have a release date.
Monzo wanders in, looks around for a bit, wanders off again...
