Great update. Havent even looked at the sounds yet but the midi sequencer is nice and fast at getting down ideas. If this is your direction then we need more controls that can map to cc and cc value sequencer. That I recon could be an IAP. One of my favorite Midi sequencers even as it is. Cant wait for the developements

I paid IAP, I did not use Auxy. The reason is lacking of Audiobus support!
I ran into this again (again) last night. I have to believe that the single biggest/best thing Auxy could do to attract new customers and make existing users use Auxy more and talk about it more is to implement AB.
Could you elaborate on how you would use AB with Auxy so I know that we understand it?
@lenberg we could use state saving to save arrangements with other audiobus apps for quick access to frequently used setups as well as easy recording to DAWs and applying other FX to Auxy generated synths.

Auxy sitting on the bus for quick navigation, having the side panel for start/stop would boost my use. Nice app anyway.
Developer should make a poll to see Auxy users needs Audiobus or not!
I think that's a good idea Captain, but I suspect that anyone who uses Auxy and also uses AB would say they would like to have the former show up as an option in the latter. Esp. for state saving as mentioned and ease-of-use with your DAW of choice. Just a workflow issue, but as we know that's no small caboodle. Presuming the implementing AB is as straightforward as it appears to be...
Auxy is easy. AB is easy. If I'm the smaller guy (especially with lots of new sounds and intending to sell more sound packs) why wouldn't I want to leverage the userbase of the bigger guy?
I love the synths so it would be great to run live MIDI with 3rd party apps and be able to record the both of them. With Audiobus you can also put in effects.
Auxy has a lot of potential, and with a dev who checks in like this, it is advancing nicely. It's becoming more useful with every update. I love the ease of this interface.
State savings, effects, recording and control in the side panel are the four big reasons for me.

Great update. I was thinking...
If possible, how about letting a MIDI note message toggle each pattern. If you could make this assignable it would be possible to map Auxy to a Launchpad which would be a great way to perform with different synths all wired through Audiobus. By assignable, let us choose which MIDI channel Auxy will receive on from the Launchpad and which MIDI note is assigned to trigger each pattern.

Works much better on my iPad 2, especially when running alone. Tested it with Cubasis, bs-16i, iM1, iMS-20, Thor, GuitarCapo - no performance issues found. Well, sometimes there are issues when auxy is playing and you start another app, but once that app is loaded - works fine. Besides, only happens with some apps, not all of them
Still hates ThumbJam a lot
Also, does not perform well with Sunrizer and MoDrums. Despite these issues, I like it a lot. Though I'd like to see more drum kits

Yeah this would be fun and we actually talked to the Novation guys about this at MIDIHack in Berlin. So we'll see if we can make it happen.
Yes we got the update with performance and bug fixes out yesterday. Seems to work well but let me know if anything comes up!
Auxy has become my 'go to' MIDI sequencer - it's very user friendly and quick to set up a little sequence. Only thing stopping it being perfect for me is lack of Audiobus support - the drum sounds are great so I want to include them along with my MIDI'd app...but I can't. Hopefully one day...

I like it, it's great, but I'd really like to record the audio from the app with the MIDI generated stuff into a DAW - but as it doesn't have Audiobus or IAA, you can't do it without exporting the audio separately.
They're missing a big amount of functionality here - with either IAA or AB support this would be a serious contender for Gadget - I'd be able to use the inbuilt sounds plus my MIDI instruments and record live onto separate channels in Auria, all via an Ableton-style clip launcher.
I could probably use just MIDI to do this, but it'd be much easier if I could mix in the inbuilt sounds as well.

And I've finally figured out why it does not work well with Thumbjam and some other apps I have. If Thumbjam is configured to use a lower buffer size (<=256 samples), it increases CPU load and that results in Auxy performing badly. If I increase the buffer size to 1024 (~24ms latency), Auxy starts playing smoothly

A thousand times. This has been touched on a little recently and I have the feeling (please correct me @lenberg) that the prevailing sentiment is 'oh well, they can do what they need to here....' but I am convinced the devs are missing out on a commercial opportunity for expansion/sales by NOT having this AB etc. Love this app, but would drive me mad if I was their marketing director...
