@supadom totally. Kinda fun.
Now this makes it interesting. It's an addition to AB that requires SDK client apps to update as well. And since it's coming as soon as next week, it isn't iOS9 related. And it's fun.
But these comments confuse the 'addition' part for me (from sebastian but emphasis mine):
.... and ....
I have no idea—I would have guessed many of the things already guessed but you said we hadn't found it yet.
Could be MIDI app switching but not sure that fits into the category of 'fun'.
Kind of hoping it's a better way to share/store states but it doesn't seem like an SDK update would be required and I'm not sure it fits into the fun category either (unless you guys blew the roof off of it).
This would be really fun but I'm not sure that it would require an SDK update either—AB could just randomize the data it already has from state saving and pass it back to an app. The results would probably be totally useless nine times out of ten so perhaps it would require an SDK update where developers would let AB know which parameters are candidates for randomization.
A randomizer for what's actually inserted into each slot in AB chain could be really fun as well but again, that could all be handled by the app itself with client apps blissfully unaware.
Just spent way too long on this post and still have absolutely no idea. I''m happy about it because you guys remain ahead of the curve. "If I'd asked people what they wanted, they would have said a faster horse"—Henry Ford
I found it;!!!!
But I can't tell!....sorry guys....
Well then... Where did you find it? You can tell us that much :-)
If it doesn't fix the midi sync issues via amazing syng whateva machine...i'm not excited anymore.Easy to wait from now on
AudioSoundPrismElectroLoopyBus?
This thread sooo reminds me of the old comps there used to be on this forum before TSTR went all posh.
Shall I say it again?
Dare I say it again? I'm cool anyway. I don't know what could we possibly need on iOS right now.
I have a colossal idea that I'd love to pitch to the Audiobus team. It could absolutely change the performance game for iOS musicians. And it's an incredibly simple, elegant idea.
Please ask me, AB.
it's a drumsampelr!
d-beam emulator!
Facebook integration!
iFunbox. Nough said.
I thought that was it, if you've got pre 8.3 you can look at the updated files for clues
I'm on 8.3 though
I'm on 8.2...... :-)
This is fun! C:-)
High five @Crabman for that image and @Musikman4Christ for keeping a lid on it.
What about being able to manipulate the AB connection graph from within apps. Playing a synth, "I want delay", just tap the 'add' button on the panel and skip the back and forth (synth->tap ab->add app->load app->back to ab->switch back to synth... meh). Want. But would I count it as 'fun'? Prolly not.
Well, crap. I thought you were joking/ teasing. Now I've got to go see for myself.
Do you know where she lives?
If it's already fun then what is being released next week?
You gotta ask Liam
Audiobus 2: Electric Boogaloo
AudioCampervan
Audiosynthatron!
Certain it's a daw of some kind
No need to update AB for a drum or synth or sampler app..
YES!
That sounds the most plausible so far - some way to sequence AB apps? Still though - its probably something (great) that nobody will guess.
Just as long as it isn't named Reface.
DAW? Seb said it's an add-on and no IAP. That'd be quite the add on!
an easy way to backup presets, and/or exchange. But is that really fun? No. Funcional: yes. Addition: hmm, not shure
idea 2 : a throw with dice from the apps you have in for instance the effects slot, so that every time you throw you get an new random combination. Could be fun. Seems hard to program though, for instance regarding to get that stable for every device.
I like that, random preset creator!
