    This appears to be a slippery slope: even the biggest plugin companies are still tiny compared to even midsized companies in business. I love supporting developers even when I may not use my latest purchase as often, so I can help support their next creation that I will use.     I will never understand how software deals are calculated at IK Multimedia, but here they are anyway.     Have you actually bought anything from this site? I find their inaccuracy in the checkout screen a bit disturbing, which gives me great pause. It says you must visit the AudioThing website... to redeem and download software from Oblivion Sound Lab...

    Reminds me of emails telling me my bank account has been compromised and I must click on the supplied link to reset my password.

    They’re legit. They’ve been going for years. I haven’t bought anything from them personally but I’ve seen people on other forums that have good things to say. The owners also have other sites that aren’t shutting down.

    As for the inaccuracies I know what you mean but it’s very common. I put it down to forgetting to change all the details after a copy and paste

    OK, thanks for the comments. I think If they're shutting down anyway it represents too much of a risk in my opinion that a redemption code could possibly fail and then I'd be out my money and a software license.

    Saw this interesting video pop up in my YouTube timeline and thought I'd post this new plugin developer's story and their first plugin. Listen to the demos. I'm hearing some very cool effects from this thing.

    This is not an endorsement, just thought I'd pass it along. And he has an intro sale on his plugin right now, $35 instead of regular price $50.

    just saw this on the Gearspace forum: PB DriveMod saturator is $1 with the code DM-1 until August 10

    and on top of that you can get the K7D Delay from Imaginando or the Softube VCA Compressor for free with your purchase (don't forget to tick the box and choose one of these)

    I jumped on this deal and failed to notice it requires the installation of additional software to activate it (Beatport Access). I have no interest in it now and will be requesting a refund. But the code provided did in fact work.

    no, you can just download the installer from your PB account page, worked for me .. without this Beatport thing (which I also wouldn't want)

    Reading over their instructions it requires this additional software. Regardless, I've lost all interest in it.

    Oh, as I said, I just passed on the info. But tested it before and it showed $19.99 for me too. Might depend on what you already have then. The new bx_aura reverb is also $19.99 for me. Still not sure if I need or want any of these two.

    Sorry, but they still have a 'pick any 2-3-4 plugins for $49.99 / $59.99 / $69.99' campaign going, if that helps.

    Not much left that I would want and the few I would be interested (Kirchhoff EQ for instance) are excluded.
