Good luck. I’m glad my credentials matched. I have purchased a lot of packs at decentsamples.com apparently a few years ago
and have only used the internal Store every since. I wonder if I try to purchase something on the web store that I already purchased on IOS… will it recognize my licensed packs and NOT charge me? As I recall that won’t work but I’,m not sure I want to be the Guinea Pig if it costs me money. Maybe someone will try it.
OK… I couldn’t stand the mystery so I purchased “Stone Glockenspiel” on the website after already purchasing in the in app Store. The website took my money again which makes sense if the App Store doesn’t share details for IN APP purchasing. So, I’m NOT sure this is Dave Hilowitz’s problem but just another aspect of Apple’s App Store policies.
Be advised. Fix you credentials between wen site and IOS and purchase on the website if you want simple buy once use anywhere and expect the IOS app to give you any purchased packs. Not those failed attempts to install the web site pack
may be a factor in this results.
If you take the leap please share your findings.
I don’t begrudge Dave Hilowitz for the double charge on Stone Glockenspiel because I have 225GB of Decent Sampler instruments installed and have only paid for a few… maybe 10 out of hundreds downloaded for free.
Dave Hilowitz did NOT get enough money from me to pay for more than about 20 cups of coffee.
I do have one small gripe: I bought Violin Enemble and it has a lot of presets in that pack. Worth the price.
So, I added Viola Ensemble at the same price and it only has 1 preset. Be advised. It’s a good preset but the Violin has several articulations and a lot of effort went into it.
For extra savings on many packs become a Patreon supporter of the Decent Sampler project. You get a lot of packs label Patreon in the In Store App for free… again credentials matter I suspect.
Great work @McD , btw you can change file extensions in IOS these days, just use Rename in Files.
@McD don't rename the dsbundle to dslibrary, rename the zip file. That's how I install my libraries
Are you sure… It looks like you changed it but the “info” details show it adds that text but keeps the original extension in this case of *.dsbundle (Never saw a dsbundle before… maybe the web site uses that extension.

I will try that. Should I use dslibrary, dspreset in the newly name file?
I screwed up by looking for Paper Drums under “D”. Duh.
I can see 5 installs of “Paper Drums” in the Decent Sampler “file browser”. Only #4 actually loads properly. The rest have
file path issues to the required samples which means hacking on the *.dslibrary XML file would be required to fix their install.
Again the differences between windows/Mac and IOS sandbox vs absolute file paths can create bugs. Any instrument created and tested on a Mac or Windows system will likely fail on IOS. Go figure.
Notice the “RESCAN SAMPLES FOLDER” pop-up menu that I activated from the Hamburger Icon (3 horizontal lines… basic burger - single patty, for lettuce/tomatoe or cheese). I forgot to RESCAN, I forgot it existed but eventually I recalled this extra step required to see recent installed instruments. I can delete the 4 broken installs by selecting them, touch the 3 dot icon and choosing “Delete Sample Library”
@McD if you have PaperDrums.zip just rename it to PaperDrums.dslibrary, it should open and install in decent Sampler.
I just activated the lifetime pro from Australia. (Posta).
Try it. It doesn’t seem to work with the pack purchased at DecentSamples.com. Decent Sampler can lead to hours of detective work but the packs purchased through the In App Store seem to work… probably well tested XML files with relative sample path filenames.

@McD At least on iPad, there is a setting in Files to show file extensions. You don't seem to have this enabled.
