It really is. I stumbled on this over the weekend and had to painstakingly note all my settings before switching surfaces.
Thanks for the reminder. 5-Stars. Done!1

Thank you everyone!
I know I'm getting greedy now, but to be able to edit start/end points on sample import (so you could use multiple instances of the same sample triggered from different points), and a preview sample in the Audioshare sample list would be lovely.
But. Just imported a Blocs drum loop and added it to a KRFT project and it's taken it to a new level. Also noticing how good the built-in FX are.
Tasty. Everyone should buy this app.
@Alex fox what's the note priority for the mono synths or when you set one to mono?
Fantastic!
I noticed the update notes stated a fix for Live Quantize when playing the keyboard / drum machine. It does appear to be better, but it's still quite bad on my end (iPad Pro / 10.2.1). Sometimes the drums don't trigger at all, sometimes they're quite late after a tap, and sometimes they're spot on. Previous version I was getting up to a full second of latency when trying to tap in fast rhythms, so any improvement is appreciated...but, Is anyone else experiencing latency issues still after this update?

Great update guys!

Um, what happens if you turn quantize off? Top left next to preset picker?
Better by a long shot on the drum instrument. Some of the synths had a few hiccups just now, but I'd say they are triggering far better as well. Is that the protocol for people like me who don't necessarily have great timing when tapping drums...run it with no quantize? Will it quantize after the fact if I turn it on after recording, or do I need to go into grid view and witness (correct) my shameful ways?
This has been my experience. Hack it out with quantize off and fix in the piano roll view.
Got it! Sort of wish my life had a piano roll view.

Outstanding update, thanks for the synth-wave access, and user sample import! The is the start of a beautiful friendship...
Keep up the good work gents!
I know I'm starting to sound like a daft fanboy but I'm loving this app. Just added a few more loops, timestretched them (as Blocs weirdly exported them at the wrong tempo) and had an evening of maximum joy.
Never crashed, no CPU issues or glitches, saves properly, and the surface is a beut to work with.
With the sample import it's become a better version of Launchpad with built in synths, drum machines and sequencers.
Apps like this make me very happy.
Oh man, love this app so much. Spent all weekend simply hooked on it.
This is indeed some next-level iOS music making full joy
Well that was a few hours spent just adding samples and tweaking everything.
Great update, keep up the good work.
Ableton export would be the icing for me oh and midi out.
Keep programming
Now in my top 5 all time greats
5 stars incoming, great update.
Really good idea.
My samples from AudioShare that have imported to other programs will not import to the new KRFT. They're mono wavs.
Is there a specific format, like stereo only, for import?
+1
I spent some time tweaking one sound soloed and playing with the new waveforms and tweaking things. There's an absolute beast of synth engine in this thing. Turned off all the delay and chorus stuff and it still sounded great. A nice robust, modern sound. And I really really really appreciate Studio Amplify's willingness to have opened up access to the synth thus far. Its gonna be killer to be able to program sounds from scratch
I keep forgetting that beyond the fact that this app is fine-tuned and hitting precisely on all 8 cylinders... it's also freakin' universal! And, the UI is even a joy to use on my lil' ol' iPhone 5 screen. Hitting so many marks so well... from a design, and intuitive UI standpoint alone, is impressive.
Deserves some kind of an award for sure
I think midi out on KRFT would get a whole lot of people into iOS
Midi out will be a game changer! I can only imagine the sounds going to Drum Session drums or LayR synths!
I would love to feed Circuit and Vsts
I would totally charge for midi out IAP if I was the dev.
Yeh, especially since it could take a lot of effort to get solid. I'd happily fork over.
As would I.
