    I believe the old will be abandoned once the new is here. But, if I remember correctly, he hopes to offer a bundle or some other way to make the update free or at least less expensive for existing users. No promises or specifics there though, so don't bank on it.

    To me it's worth buying now even if the new is full price. There's no specific ETA at this time and it could be awhile. You will get your money's worth out of it within a week. B)

    @lsd87 i was in the same boat recently and just went ahead and bought it. Where music is concerned there is no time to wait and I bet sales have dropped as everyone is waiting for the new version. I believe the dev will look after existing users and it’s great as it is. I just want pitch bend thingy so I can record my iFretless slides.

    I was checking to see if @blueveek had maybe posted Twitter updates and I’ve got to say, he looks different from his avatar, must’ve shaved the goatee since that was taken.

    I often leave having a shave until I’m done on a project, I wouldn’t take that as a sign here though 😁

    Ohhhhh man.... I’m so excited. No beta here but I believe it will be, even if it’s just a little better then atom 1 it will be a phenomenal app.

    Only thing that concerns me is that Atom was relatively easy to learn, but this new beast atom 2 looks like it could be, scratch that could be, and put a “will be” a lot more in-depth. I’m sure there’s a few YouTubers and some others, who will help us on that front. Any tutorials or manual/user guide in the works? Or is that something for after release?

    Does the new Atom have the ability to auto save MIDI at the end of a loop or when stopped? I currently use LK to quickly fire off n bar jams while I am in the zone. Before LK I would use Photon to capture these but having to manually save/export each 8 bar loop for later analysis is a workflow killer.

    I’m looking for a MIDI version of the AUM channel audio record option which auto saves the wav file with the date and time in the file name (or some other naming convention) when you stop recording. Having a BlocsWave style MIDI clip auditioning/organisation area would just be icing :smile:
