So sweet... Now i am wondering about this op-1... Uh oh...
I have an OP1 review on my YouTube channel that's pretty indepth if you're curious about it. Kinda funny that someone things the Circuit is too plinky but prefers the POs, those are about as plinky as it gets
I usually have the Circuit editor open while working with the Circuit in the studio, though I typically am still doing most of the sound design on unit itself. One thing I like it for is changing the voice settings on some patches. A lot of them are set to be monophonic, and once you can play them as chords they really open up more possibilities. Also the EQ settings are only available in the editor, and those help me shape things to sit better together in each session.
I think he said the po's were a mistake as well, for the same reason he sent them back.
Yah, finding EQ, chorus and distortion in there was a pleasant surprise and goes a long way.
Gotcha.
It's nice that the filter gets the same distortion options too.
Thank you for that kind offer- and all the other suggestions- but I must decline as my mind is made up- I have a plethora of other options to choose from so I will still be having plenty of fun- without the Circuit featuring..... for now anyway. I will probably pack it away in it's box somewhere..... then bring it back out in a moment in of desperation/inspiration in a few weeks time- only for the same scenario to unfold (this has happened several times already) -
Cheers
Damn brother, sell that on craigslist. It really wants to be played with. Poor thing sitting in a box.
Thanks @Jiggywig, for hanging in there with me on that
I'm very glad that you posted about it.
Hi @ghostly606. Would it be possible to acess your other TB MIDI Stuff pages for iPad if done? I've now had grateful success using your macro page, along with the pages kindly available at matrixsynth.com. Would love to see how your other pages work in practice too.
Many thanks
Been busy at work so not as developed as I'd hoped, but here is another work in progress:
You select each panel using the buttons along the top.
Cool, cool!
Ooh. Yes. Buttons fully eyeballed. I reckon these kinds of TB MIDI Stuff editors are so much better than having to always fire up a PC/Mac. Wish I was that clever!
He has his first meeting at the Broken Circuit support group next Tuesday
Friday will be interesting
Finally!
They need to stop teasing us, I'm overhyped.
only one direction they could go that would matter,
Sampler?
@JiggyWig @kobamoto @ghostly606
Where is the teasing and hype, I've missed it all ?
A post by Taylor Dickson (Social Media Manager from Focusrite / Novation) over on the Facebook page:
"April 15th.
Watch this space."
Followed by the usual shedloads of theories. Personally (wishful thinking?) I think it will be a major Firmware update. I don't want nor need a Circuit Sampler, as cool as it would be.
Definitely intriguing. Was it definitely aimed at circuit, or just a general comment ?
Circuit.
Do you know more details @Tarekith ?
Of course he does nda nda nda
Not sure if it is possible (and likely not) but a firmware that enabled audio over usb would be fantastic. A specific ipad app editor/session recorder would be awesome too. Watch it be a carrying case.
I had just listed my Circuit on ebay scheduled to start tonight at 8pm.... I have now just taken it off to see what happens. I heard elsewhere that there was a big announcement on the 15th- I didn't realise that it was for the Circuit though. I hope it's something worth waiting for. It should be- by the sounds of it. They don't seem to be taking their foot off at the moment- from that point of view its quite encouraging. The old Monotribe has still gone on to ebay though.
Where in the world are you? I regret selling my Monotribe about 6 months ago.
Do you mean I must be off my head selling it? or you want to buy it?
I'm in Scotland-
Bit of both Where in Scotland? And does it have MIDI mods or anything? And how much? (sorry to go off topic)
